The Steigenberger Golf Resort is situated in the middle of the El Gouna USPGA approved championship golf course. El Gouna is an exclusive new tourist destination on the Red Sea, often called the Riviera of the Red Sea or Little Venice of the Red Sea.

The Steigenberger Golf Resort, designed by the American star architect Michael Graves, expresses the mixture of the modern architecture with the reflection of the regional tradition.

The Steigenberger Golf Resort opened in October 1999. Located in El Gouna, Red Sea, 30 km from Hurghada International Airport, 35 km from the city of Hurghada and the distance to Cairo is approx. 450 km and to Luxor 350 km.

The hotel features 204 guests’ rooms, suites and apartments. 148 well-appointed and large rooms (over 54 m2 including terrace), 26 spacious junior suites (72 m2 including terrace) and 30 family rooms (128 m2 including terrace) situated in 7 separate buildings, with the view over the golf course, lagoon or the pool.

All rooms have balconies or terraces, individual air conditioners, Mini Bar, 2 direct dial telephones, safe, radio, satellite televisions, hairdryers and the 30 apartments and 9 suites have a kitchenette.

El Gouna Oasis El Gouna Oasis is about 10 minutes away from El Gouna. It is the home of Hag Ahmad, Sheikh of the "Abada" tribe of the Bedouin community, and has been in existence before El Gouna was created. It features a natural grove of date palms, a well, thatched roofed huts, Bedouin tents, a pigeon pot, and a garden producing tomatoes, citrus fruits and melons. Camel riding is possible, and refreshment such as tea, coffee and shisha are offered in the coolness of the tent.

The main restaurant “Fairways” offers the finest international cuisine in form of breakfast and themed dinner buffets. "La Rotisserie" Is the hotel’s French Mediterranean restaurant located in the tower of the Golf Club. The contemporary fine dinning restaurant features culinary delights. The service is stylish and attentive.

On the other hand, our distinguished bars are located in four most beautiful areas with marvelous views adding to our guests’ wonderful experience. Two of the bars are considered as restaurants as well, serving light meals to the guests.
