As Safaga is known of being an ideal destination for Diving; thousands of
divers and ecotourists come to Safaga to enjoy watching wonders of coral reefs,
and various kinds of sea creatures. These sea creatures various between:
vertebrates, invertebrates, reptiles, mammals, crustaceans, spongy animals, soft
and stony corals that form wonderful multicolor colonies of under water living.
The coral reefs in the Red Sea are the natural extension of the corals in the
Indian Ocean, and it extends for about 1100 km in the Egyptian regional water.
There are many factors that help in the prosperity of marine life in Red Sea
among which: high saltiness of water; wind speed, high average of evaporation,
low average of raining, no rivers flow into it, besides suitable temperatures
for the reproduction and growth of all sea creatures.
Because of regular water currents that help in the abundance of food supply
to all sea creatures and also in getting rid of wastes; Red Sea is considered to

Windsurf
Club Nathalie Simon Center is located on the menaville resort beach. The
windsurf area is a great windy place for enjoying long runs, freestyle and bump
& jump sessions by strong wind in the large of the Bay. The thermic wind of
Safaga occur almost during all year with an impressive consistency.
In front of the beach, beginners will feel in total security for their first
sailing experience.
The Hotel has selected top quality & adapted gear for all levels:
Neilpryde Sails Bic, Tabou and AHD boards, Beginners boards & sails Kids with 10
years old can discover windsurf with our special kids' gear. We care a lot about
security and are equipped with rescue boats. The spot is constantly checked by
our team ready to intervene if necessary.
Kitesurf
Very much concerned by safety, they have separated kitesurf from windsurf and
have found for you the perfect kite spot : lagoon with shallow water in a large
& beautiful bay in the middle of the desert. The boat will drive you to the kite
spot in the morning and back to Menaville after your course or kite session.
They are an I.K.O. ,international Kiteboarding Oragnisation, approved School.
The center is equipped with Takoon gear.
Courses : from introduction to kitesurf to advanced courses, Max. 4 persons per
instructor , Security boat and checking.
