Pestana Bazaruto Lodge is one of the only and exclusive hotels in Bazaruto, the largest island of the Bazaruto Archipelago, approximately 600 km north from Maputo (capital of Mozambique).

This hotel in Bazaruto was renovated in July 2007 and is located in a true dream destination. The island is undoubtedly a destination of rare beauty with lots yet to be explored, distinguishing itself by its wild life, turquoise blue waters and dream beaches.

The Pestana Bazaruto Lodge has 40 bungalows with A-shaped thatched roofs, decorated with the unmistakable charm that fuses the ethnic style with the island’s tropical environment. These are located among tropical gardens, offering fantastic views of the beach and the gardens.

Flamingo Restaurant

This is the only restaurant at the Lodge which dinner is announced every night by the sound of African drums. It is situated in the main building and has a capacity for approximately 80 persons. Mozambican and International food is served both "à la Carte" and as a Buffet. The specialities are fish, seafood and grills.

Open for:

  • Breakfast from 7h00 to 10h30
  • Lunch from 13h00 to 15h00
  • Dinner from 19h30 to 22h00

Children's menu available and meals can be arranged before normal times

Sunset Bar

Open daily from 07h00 to 01h00, offering coffee, tea, international drinks, tropical cocktails and light meals.

Please note that at Pestana Bazaruto Lodge full board is compulsory all year round.
