atmosphere and superb service. Afternoon tea and drinks are served in the Polo

La Belle Terrasse and Loggia: La Belle Terrasse, The
Westcliff's signature Restaurant, does more than provide fine in-house dining
for guests - it has swiftly become the destination Restaurant for Johannesburg's
executive and social set. This is a remarkable achievement for a new Hotel
Restaurant and La Belle Terrasse's success is undoubtedly due to the combination
of its people, its food and its undeniable flair. The style is friendly and
fuss-free, there is no pretension or ostentation, the decor and table settings
are simple yet superbly elegant, and above all, the service is seamless. Only
the finest and freshest ingredients are used to prepare exceptional, yet simple
cuisine. The wine list features a remarkable selection of the very best estate
wines from the Cape. The alfresco terrace - while making for a superb dining
experience with a bird’s eye view of the city by day or night - also provides

This beautiful dining area abuts the La Belle Terrasse Restaurant. In
addition to being utilised as an extension of the fine dining area when
required, this Room with its panoramic views over the Johannesburg Zoological
Gardens is suitable for formal Banquets for up to 50 guests or cocktail parties
for up to 80 people. La Belle Terrasse and the adjoining Loggia are open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner, each providing a selection of stylishly simple
dishes presented with Executive Chef Andrew Atkinson's innovative touch.
The Conservatory: The Conservatory is the ideal Venue for
all-day light dining and refreshments, where guests can enjoy the spectacular
views across the elevated pool deck to Forest Town and the Zoological Gardens
beyond. It is light, airy, sunny and stylishly tastefully decorated with Lloyd
Loom furniture and Kentia palms. A full a la-Carte menu is on offer, together
with delicious morning and afternoon teas. This relaxed area with its open
windows, works well to accommodate both smokers and non-smokers alike.
The Polo Lounge: The Polo Lounge, Terrace and Bar has
quickly established itself as the place to meet in Johannesburg. With its
wood-panelled walls, gleaming copper tables, deep cane chairs, historic polo
photographs and leather sofas, the Polo Lounge is reminiscent of a cosy sitting
Room set in an extensive colonial home. With its informal atmosphere and cosy
furnishing, not to mention the great selection of traditional cocktails and
mixers, the Polo Bar is the ideal spot to rendezvous before dinner in La Belle
Terrasse – or afterwards for a nightcap or cigar. Located next to the Bar, the
Polo Lounge is the perfect meeting place for coffee, tea or cocktails. An
all-day, light snack menu features excellent sandwiches, salads and pastas. An
ideal place for all-day dining, the Polo Lounge offers an ΰ la carte snack
menu which includes delicious salads, crayfish pizzas and the famous Westcliff
hamburger. In the evening, the highly polished Bar near the fireplace is an
inviting place to meet for pre-dinner drinks or lingering nightcaps.
