With 102 spacious villas spread across a remote jungle wilderness in the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru combines impeccable service, five-star facilities and world-class cuisine with a real sense of discovery. Its sister property, Kuda Huraa  is a lushly tropical private island to the south, renowned for its exceptional surf and easy charm. Both are linked by the luxury catamaran  Four Seasons Explorer, which cruises between the two island resorts stopping at exceptional dive sites, tiny uninhabited beaches and remote island communities along the way.

Lage

Located in the Baa Atoll – a remote natural wilderness that invites discovery. Exotic jungle greenery is flanked by immaculate white beaches and one of the Maldives’ largest natural lagoons, while the surrounding waters – some of the richest in the Maldives – offer exceptional opportunities for diving, water sports and conservation. Note that “local time” refers to nearby Malé, which is GMT +5; the Resort is GMT +6.

Wegbeschreibung

Malé International Airport is served by a number of international and charter airlines, including Aeroflot, Air India, Bangkok Airways, British Airways, Emirates Air, Malaysian Airlines, Meridiana Fly, Singapore Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, Transaero Airlines and Qatar Airways.
All visitors to the Maldives must possess a valid passport and return air ticket. A complimentary 30-day tourist visa will be issued upon arrival. If guests are arriving from Yellow Fever infected areas, they must produce a vaccination certificate. Guests may not bring alcohol, pork products, pornography or weapons into the Maldives. These items will be confiscated at the airport and disposed of by the airport authorities

Malé International Airport (MLE)

Travel time: 30 to 45 minutes by seaplane

Distance: 120 kilometres (75 miles)

Instructions:The island of Landaa Giraavaru, 120 kilometres (75 miles) from Malé International Airport, is accessible by seaplane.

The scenic flights, operated by Maldivian Air Taxi (MAT), are available during daytime hours only. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to the seaplane check-in. Maximum waiting time in Four Seasons private lounge rarely exceeds two hours from time of check-in. Flight times are subject to weather conditions and schedules and may involve one short stop en route. Round-trip seaplane transfer fees apply at a rate of USD 520 per adult and USD 260 per child ages 2 to 12, plus applicable taxes and services charges.

To Kuda Huraa
Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is a 25-minute speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to a waiting speedboat. Speedboat transfer fees apply at the rate of USD 220 for adults and USD 110 for children aged five and over, plus applicable taxes and service charge.

Our 102 thatched beach and water villas at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, including two unsurpassed land and ocean villas, feature private plunge pools and generous outdoor living spaces with views across the tranquil lagoon. Although the traditional Maldivian method of building walls from coral is now outlawed, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru received special permission to use recycled coral to replicate the lost art in each of our luxurious accommodations. Also, please note that the Resort works diligently to exist in harmony with its natural surroundings, which means that, much like local residents and early explorers, you will occasionally encounter mosquitoes, geckos or drifts of oceanic plankton.

In case of a cancelled or shortened reservation, Operators must inform to Inner Maldives in writing as soon as possible. In the event such written notice is not received within the time limit stated below, the Cancellation
Charges will apply as follows;
D. 50% of the accommodation for the whole period of the reservation if a written cancellation notice is received within:
-95 – 65 days before the expected date of arrival from 21st Dec 2013 to 10th Jan 2014
- 35 – 20 days before the expected date of arrival from 11th Jan – 10th May 2014 & 13th July – 31st Aug 2014 & 01st Oct – 20th Dec 2014
- 19 - 12 days before the expected date of arrival from 11th May –12th July 2014 & 01-30th Sep 2014
E. 100% of the accommodation for the whole period of the reservation if a written cancellation notice is received within:
- 64 – 00 days before the expected date of arrival from 21st Dec 2013 to 10th Jan 2014
-19 – 00 days before the expected date of arrival from 11th Jan –10th May 2014 & 13th July – 31st Aug 2014 & 01st Oct – 20th Dec 2014
- 11 - 00 days before the expected date of arrival from 11th May – 12 July 2013 & 01-30 Sep 2014
F. NO SHOWS/EARLY DEPARTURES: 100 % of Total Invoice Value
- A reservation is considered a no show if arrival does not occur on the date reserved. Inner Maldives shall only invoice company of
behalf of the guest the applicable cancellation charge as described as above.
