Hotel Overview

History

The Hotel is an excellent example of a 19th Century Ottoman stone house. The owner was born here. She has restored and decorated it to give guests a glimpse into the Istanbul. Public areas have been decorated with antique furniture in order to give a warm and elegant atmosphere. In the lobby there is a 2.5 meter high, 16th Century, 24 carat gold-leaf mirror. Other features include and 18th Century Vienna Console stone mirror with intricate Hand-made designs on the frame, a unique Chinese-style hand-embroidered silk prayer rug.

Location

Arena Hotel, is located in the old city part of Istanbul called Sultanahmet, which is known as one of the biggest open air museums of the world.
