The Grand Ballroom, The Athenian Hall, The Royal Room, The Golden Room Since its reopening following a radical renovation, the Grande Bretagne proved the most popular city hot spot for receptions and meetings of every flavor. It has reinstated its reputation as not only the best hotel in Athens but also as the ultimate choice for the flawless organization of social and business events. Some of the most important conventions that have taken place in Athens have been hosted in its rooms.

The Grand Ballroom, which has hosted a plethora of successful "Olympic" events (literally and figuratively) with VIPs from both home and abroad, is decorated with genuine objects of art; furniture, crystal chandeliers, velvet curtains and rare antiques. This 440 m² space can be separated into three smaller ballrooms, and the state-of-the-art equipment makes it ideal for meetings of all types.

The Athenian Hall, a warm and functional room, covers an area of 100 m² and has been designed to offer a relaxing interlude, a change of scene, or even a delicious buffet for conference participants.

The Golden Room, which covers more than 300 m², is part of the new wing on Voukourestiou Street created in order to add to the total number of conference rooms available to demanding clients. Designed along the lines of the Grand Ballroom, it is divided into four smaller autonomous rooms that can seat up to 300 delegates.

And for those small but extremely important business summits, the Grande Bretagne presents three special meeting rooms that are fully outfitted with the very latest technology in audio and visual aids and equipment: The Boardroom, 47 m² for up to 14 persons, The Diplomat's, 27 m² for up to 12 persons and The Chairman's, 27 m² for up to 12 persons.

Private Meeting/ Dining room Churchill's

In remembrance of all its prominent guests of the past century, the GB created this private dining area for small groups out to celebrate a special occasion, or for a group of business people that require their own special space for an important dinner meeting. Named after the prominent English politician of the 20th century who stayed at the Grande Bretagne on several occasions, Churchill's, which discreetly sits between Alexander's bar, the Royal Room and the Winter Garden, remains almost invisible to the indiscreet gaze of other visitors. On the same level as the lobby, it also has a view of the atrium and hosts private lunches and dinners for 12 to 14 people.

The Cellar

The pride and joy of any luxury hotel is its wine cellar. This one is so much more than a cool place to store wine. Besides being a unique place for a treasure load of rare labels, this cavern of wood and stone keeps precious wines at perfect temperatures and ideal humidity conditions so that nothing is lost from their taste and bouquet. There you can discover some new favorites from a collection that exceeds 2,600 bottles. It includes selections of top Greek and imported wines as well as a unique collection of ports. And for those very special occasions, the cellar, along with its monastic wooden table, can be reserved for a very private dinner party or business meeting, complete with rich place settings and silverware, not to mention the possibility of wine tasting experiences. Hours of Operation: 06:30 to 11:00 a.m. Start your day with the extensive buffet breakfast served in this luxurious room. The Royal Room can also be setup for exclusive meetings.
