Crowne Plaza Christchurch is The Place to Meet for any occasion from an informal Meeting with colleagues through to Conferences, corporate Meetings and Gala Dinners. With a selection of five Meeting Rooms and display areas, you can choose the space that offers the ideal atmosphere for your Function. For larger groups our physical link to the Christchurch Convention Centre assists in providing sensational Conference facilities for groups up to 2000 delegates.

The Hotel's team is committed to providing you with the service to make your Meeting or Event a true success. With the specially designed Meetings programme you will have a designated Crowne Meetings Director who is available to coordinate all aspects of your Event. Crowne Plaza is committed to providing services and offers that make your meeting a true return on your investment. Meetings programmes, such as Meeting Options, make booking your meeting with this Hotel a great first step to your success.

Function Rooms:

  • Atrium Lounge & Bar: Located on the ground floor of the Hotel, the Atrium Lounge & Bar offers the perfect atmosphere for an informal Meeting, with a selection of menu items, cakes, coffees and teas.
  • Gallery Rooms: These Rooms are situated on the mezzanine floor, with convenient stair or lift access from the Hotel Atrium. This is the most versatile area, as the Gallery rooms can be divided into four or fewer separate Rooms, known as Galleries A, B, C and D. These are ideal for small Conferences and Functions, or if breakout Rooms are required.
  • Gallery C: Is the smallest of the Room divisions measuring 4.8 x 7.6 metres / 15' 8" x 24' 11", 36 square metres / 388 square feet and can accommodate up to 30 guests reception or theatre style.
  • Gallery A and Gallery B: Are the largest divisions both measuring 7.2 x 7.6 metres / 23' 7" x 24' 11", 55 square metres / 592 square feet, and can accommodate up to 50 guests reception style.
  • The whole Gallery: Can accommodate up to 180 guests reception style and 120 Banquet style, whilst the Gallery Foyer can accommodate up to 50 guests reception style.
  • First Edition: This Room is situated on the ground floor and is great for any occasion, from formal board Meetings through to Functions with real atmosphere. The Room includes a fireplace with a beautiful wood surround, and overlooks Victoria Square. The Room measures 12.0 x 13.0 metres / 39' 4" x 42' 8", 156 square metres / 1679 square feet, and can accommodate up to 250 guests reception style.
  • Club Lounge: The Club Lounge is located on the 6th floor and overlooks the Atrium Lounge & Bar, offering a fantastic atmosphere. The Lounge is available for Club Floor guests to utilise for informal business Meetings or entertaining during their stay at the Hotel.

Business Centre: Perfect for busy executives or leisure travellers, the Business Centre offers modern equipment and services including:
