From the beginning, the event organizer is given one contact number, a single sales consultant guides them through the booking process, and a conference concierge manages the event from start to finish, taking away the anxiety, and the risk of disappointing results.
The Crowne Plaza Beirut offers standard delegate eight-hour and 24-hour packages that include all charges, tax and service. A welcome coffee / tea break is included in addition to the standard mid-morning and afternoon breaks. A dedicated conference ‘hot phone’ means event organizers need to press just one button to contact their conference concierge.
The conference organization program is called ‘Meeting Success,’ and attention to detail is one of its major strengths. Break-out smoking zones with specially designed airflows are available to accommodate smokers, without inconveniencing their fellow delegates, while VIP treatment is also offered, along with complimentary parking and room upgrades.
The Crowne Plaza Beirut has nine designated locations for conferences and seminars, and catering can be provided for groups from as small as 10 all the way to 600 people. All meeting rooms and the Business Center that serve them are located on one floor, which is directly accessible from 420-car parking lot. Food and beverage service provides healthy menu options.
Conference rooms are lit with natural daylight from floor-to-ceiling windows. All meeting rooms are equipped with the latest state of the art audio-visual equipment and fully adjustable lighting facilities, computer connections, and individually-controlled air conditioning. Technical equipment, such as multiplayer VCRs, TV monitors, microphones, sound equipment, overhead projectors, 35mm slide projectors, LCD projectors for laptop presentations, and back projection capabilities are also provided upon request.
Some of the audio-visual equipment was custom made for the Crowne Plaza Beirut, including the ‘Smart Pad’, which features data projection for PC with remote operated video projection.
