Open: April to October... Glenapp Castle is one mile from the A77 Glasgow to Stranraer trunk road near the village of Ballantrae. It was built in 1870 by the celebrated architect David Bryce for James Hunter, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Ayrshire.
Conference centre's description
Glenapp Castle is open from mid-March until 2nd January (excluding Christmas) each year for individual guests. The Castle is also available throughout the season as a magnificent private venue for exclusive use by groups, such as corporate and incentive groups, sporting groups, wedding parties and private family groups.
