Reid's Palace is the perfect venue for incentives and small conferences, offering 6 meeting rooms accommodating up to 180 people (theatre style), most with glorious views and natural light.
The Boardroom
The Boardroom's 5m by 8m dimensions make it perfect for mid-sized meeetings. The antique boardroom table and chairs can seat up to 16 guests in comfortable luxury. Two sets of double doors open out on to a private balcony overlooking Reid's lush gardens and a beautiful sea view.
The Bridge Room
The bridge room is connected to The Boardroom, with antique table and chair decoration, and a balcony overlooking the garden, sea and Funchal Bay. A dual-purpose room, serving The Boardroom for refreshment breaks, or for private dinners. Measuring a generous 8m by 6m, it can host up to 30 guests.
The William Reid Room
The William Reid Room has contemporary furniture, with a large window wall overlooking the sea and the gardens, and at 8m by 5m, it is suitable for a maximum of 20 persons.
The House of Commons
This beautiful Edwardian decorated room, is part of the historical “Dining Room”. With a private entrance through a separate foyer, this room is ideal for any meeting up to 150 pax or banquet for 110 pax. Ceiling is 10 meters high. No pillars, natural daylight. WiFi access is available.
The Meeting Room
The Meeting Room is decorated with Scottish tartan and is a suitable function room for meetings or banqueting. It has modern furniture, large built-in screen and windows facing Funchal Bay. The Meeting Room measures 10m by 9m and is suitable for a maximum of 86 persons.
Salon 28
Salon 28 is suitable for small cocktail parties, with window and small balcony overlooking the gardens. The room has Portuguese azulejos tile decoration and offers a large television and video. At just over 6m by 6m, it can also host small meetings for up to 20 guests.
The Garden Restaurant
The Garden Restaurant, a spacious 10m by 20m, can accommodate up to 180 people for stylish receptions overlooking the pool and a magnificent view of the sea. Please note that the Garden Restaurant is normally used as a breakfast restaurant.
Outdoor Venues
Reid's Palace is blessed with a number of perfect outdoor venues for an elegant reception in beautiful weather. The Palm Garden will host 150 guests for a reception while the Pool Terrace caters for 260 guests, whether for a banquet or a reception.
