Designed by Olga Polizzi, Rocco Forte Hotels’s Director of Design the hotel has a fresh and contemporary look with some antiques and original Flemish paintings and tapestries. The 16th century building has been lovingly restored, incorporating modern design touches.
The Amigo originally opened in 1958, and underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2001. It exudes character and perfectly complements the impressive surroundings of the neighbouring Grand Place. The hotel is renowned for its exquisite service, and won the World Travel Awards Best Hotel in Belgium Award for three consecutive years.
