On the western shore of the Costa de la Luz, near the seaside resort of Punta Umbria on the estuary where Christopher Columbus sailed to discover America, Nuevo Portil Golf is the latest addition on the already extensive list of Golf Clubs affiliated to the Costa de la Luz association Atlantee Golf. This brand new course inaugurated in 2001 extends over one hundred acres a lush pine groves, nicely complemented by the new AC Nuevo Portil Golf 4 Star Hotel to form a splendid Golf Resort which will soon climb high on the list of favourite golf destinations.

Poised on the fairways of the brand new Nuevo Portil Golf, this beautiful hotel inaugurated in 2001 is the first Golf property of the prestigious AC Hotels group and should soon be joined by other golf Hotels at different locations throughout the country. The neo-colonial style of this low rise building merges seamlessly into the lush wooded environment and its covered Balcony running the entire length of the facades provide soothing views of the undulating fairways.
