First of all remain calm and see if anyone is injured. When you pick up your rental car be sure the rental agency writes the local phone numbers for the police, road service and an emergency contact number (usually cell phone) for someone from the agency. In the case of an accident you should immediately call the police to report the nature and location of the incident and the name of the agency you have hired the car from. Then call the agency emergency contact so they can report the incident to their insurance carrier.

Most of the car hire agencies we collaborate with have customer service desks in all major airports. Airport staff can guide you to the desk where you present your voucher and they will take you to collect your car. In smaller regional airports you will be met by a representative holding a placard with your name on it.
Yes, just like in the USA or the majority of the countries in Europe vehicles in Greece are left hand drive and are driven on the right hand side of the road. Anywhere you travel abroad however it is a good idea to make sure you are abreast of the driving laws. This information can usually be obtained through your consulate in the country you intend to visit.
Throughout Europe the majority of rental cars have manual transmissions (stick shifts). If you have never driven a manual transmission make sure you request an automatic when you make your reservation. The number of vehicles with automatic transmissions is often limited so don't wait till the last minute.
