The Elysium enjoys uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea and has been sensitively designed in a palatial style primarily influenced by the Byzantine era. The cultural references of its architecture evoke the rich history of Cyprus and combine elements from Greek, Roman, Medieval and Venetian times.
A blend of local stone, marble and timber, warm muted colours and decorative features such as mosaics, arches and columns reflect the aims of the designers to create a sense of place and tradition, where guests can enjoy a relaxing and stimulating holiday in a peaceful and secluded environment.

The Elysium is situated on the beach, in the historical heartland of the ancient city of Paphos, next to the archaeological site of the Tombs of the Kings. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the picturesque harbour of Paphos, 25 minutes from Paphos International Airport, and 90 minutes from Larnaca International Airport.

Accommodation
A variety of accommodation is offered ranging from Deluxe Bedrooms with balconies to Cyprian Maisonettes, Royal Luxury Studios and  Royal Garden Villas with private pools making the resort ideal for families and couples of all ages.

Deluxe Bedrooms
The Deluxe Bedroom consists of a bedroom with either a twin, double or king-sized bed. These luxurious bedrooms include either carpet or marble floor and have a balcony or terrace with comfortable seating arrangements. Facilities include a 40" smart TV with satellite channels, a writing desk and an en-suite marble bathroom with bathtub, WC and shower stall.

Family Cyprian Maisonettes
The Family Cyprian Maisonettes are designed to a high standard in a traditional style with rustic terracotta tiles and ceilings of timber and local bamboo. These rooms incorporate a double height sitting room overlooked by a mezzanine sleeping gallery. One maisonette consists of 1 bedroom, a separate shower room and a living area with comfortable seating arrangements. The Family Cyprian Maisonettes open onto the beautiful royal gardens or onto a private garden.

Royal Studios
The “Megaron” with its arcaded ground floor and colonnaded loggias on the first floor is a stately structure housing 12 studios. These rooms offer greater luxury and space than the deluxe bedrooms. As well as being set apart from the main building, they overlook the Tombs of the Kings from one side and the village square from the other. The ground floor units have private gardens with plunge pools.

Royal Garden Villas
Set slightly apart from the main building, these villas with private gardens and pool are designed around a traditional village square lined with lemon trees. In the centre of the square is a sunken swimming pool surrounded by a stone colonnade which is particularly beautifully lit at dusk. Each villa also has a private garden, plunge pool and jumbo-bed in its garden. The interior spaces recreate the traditional Cyprian village house with mezzanine sleeping areas and living space of double height. These villas with stunning views are the ultimate retreat for those searching for privacy and tranquility.

Artemis Suite
Artemis Suite is named after the twin sister of Apollo and one of the ancient Greek goddesses. This open plan suite is marked by the warm quality of parquet flooring and solid wood. Locally handcrafted furniture enhance the distinctive decor. Special features include a working desk, separate sitting lounge with a Smart TV and a beautiful pool and sea view from your private balcony.

Thalia Suite
The Thalia Suite is also named after one of the nine muses. This sea view suite incorporates a luxurious sitting room separated from the private bedroom. Parquet flooring and solid handcrafted wood panelling on the walls radiate natural warmth. Here you can indulge in the luxury of a large jacuzzi bathtub, two washbasins, a shower featuring a rain shower and an Espresso machine.

Junior Suites
Uniting functionality with a fashionable feel, our multi-purpose, recently renovated Junior Suites – comprising one artfully appointed bedroom, one spacious living room, and an expansive balcony – are uniquely positioned to deliver an exclusive holiday experience.

Queen Verenikis Suite

Outdoor Pool
This is the focal point of the hotel and has been designed on many levels with a hydro massage rotunda pool in the center. 

Indoor Pool
The indoor swimming pool of the hotel is located near the luxurious Opium Health Spa. Its opulent and serene surroundings make it ideal for all seasons, as guests can enjoy a swim in absolute tranquillity and privacy.

Royal Pool
The adults only sunken Royal Pool, is a central feature of the Megaron and it is open exclusively for adult (16 years and over) guests of the Royal Studios and Royal Garden Villas.

Tennis Courts
For the more energetic, there are two floodlit tennis courts.

Scuba Diving at the Elysium
As part of our promise to always offer the best of services and facilities to our guests, the Elysium has recently formed collaboration with the Cyprus Scuba Diving Centre in order to provide visitors with the opportunity to explore the unique underwater environment of Cyprus. Cyprus is an ideal spot for scuba diving throughout the year. On the one hand, the numerous shipwrecks, the ancient monuments and the volcanic formations and caves at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea are sure to leave divers with a sense of sheer amazement. The Mediterranean Sea is famous for its tranquil waters, whereas underwater currents are remarkably favourable throughout the year. Underwater visibility is extremely good (30m+), whereas the water temperature ranges from 16 degrees Celsius in winter to 30 degrees Celsius during the summer months.
The collaboration between the Elysium and Cydive means that visitors of the hotel have access to a variety of worldwide-accepted training programs that Cydive offers on a a daily basis. As well as entry-level training and courses on all aspects of scuba diving, one of the most famous programs among holiday-makers is a half-day training program intended for adults and children above the age of ten.

Lemonia Piazza
With its bright and cheerful décor, it is no wonder that Lemonia Piazza has made a name for itself for delivering one of the most indulgent breakfast experiences island-wide. A brilliant display of breakfast goods – spanning freshly baked pastries and breads, charcuteries and cheeses, and hot delights – as well as à la minute cooking stations tempt guests on a daily basis. Coffees, teas, and fresh juices serve as the ideal accompaniments, alongside champagne: because the start of every day should be celebrated as a special occasion.
Whether seated inside, or outside on the terrace, diners can also anticipate availing themselves of our à la carte lunch and dinner menu, whilst our younger guests can expect to be delighted by our dedicated children's menu.
Situated at the lower lobby of the hotel, the Lemonia Piazza offers tastes from around the world with a wide range of international cuisine and unforgettable theme buffet nights.

Epicurean Restaurant / Terrace
Epicurean's creative flair and superior service ensure that a mere meal metamorphoses into an unforgettable occasion. Nestled at the end of a grand Venetian corridor framed by palatial arches, Epicurean's exquisite space is accented with harmonious olive green tones. Diners are invited to indulge in a rich buffet presenting different international cuisines nightly, with live cooking stations serving to further inspire diners' senses. Between May and October, the dining room opens onto the Epicurean Terrace, where you can enjoy dinner under the stars in the hotel’s extensive gardens.

Ristorante Bacco
Ristorante Bacco offers guests a complete dining experience: a delicious meal in a warm and intimate setting. Authentic Italian cuisine – with highlights from Tuscany – is captured in a sumptuous menu that includes homemade pasta dishes, tender meat and fish specialties, and the most popular Italian desserts, all based on original recipes and made from fresh ingredients.

O’Shin Restaurant
Dignified and yet simplistic, O'Shin's intimate space gives guests the opportunity to explore a selection of refined, pan-Asian gastronomic delights. Fawn-coloured oak wood utilised throughout the eatery lends to its elegant setting, which has been further embellished with oriental-styled latticed partitions, and soft, cherry-hued lighting.
Whilst hot dishes – a diverse range of starters and mains – are prepared behind the scenes, the variety of sushi, sashimi, and maki is brought to life at the dedicated sushi counter, establishing an exciting dialogue between diner and chef. In completing their Asian journey, guests can anticipate enjoying a smooth cup of Sake, or savouring the aromas of O'Shin's selection of teas.

Mediterraneo Restaurant
Mere steps away from the sea, the open-air Mediterraneo restaurant serves a delicious array of Cypriot and Mediterranean specialities. An open kitchen and wooden furniture enhance this inviting restaurant's ambience, which combines traditional décor with a touch of class. Mediterraneo is open daily for lunch and dinner.
No visitor should leave the island without tasting Mediterraneo's delights, which include local favourites, including fresh fish, pasta, refreshing salads, and a great variety of indulgent snacks.

Astria Bar
Themed around the night sky's glittering constellations, Bar Astria is ideal for enjoying your favourite drinks whilst sharing moments of private conversation with friends and family. Whether seated indoors or outside beneath the pergola-covered terraces overlooking the Lethe Spring – which is beautifully lit up at night – this is the place to meet and enjoy the offerings of our well-stocked bar, inclusive of a range of cocktails, premium whiskies, and even the right cigar to go with your preferred cognac. Café Occidental
Chic, contemporary, and cosmopolitan, Café Occidental pulses with energy from dawn until dusk, providing guests with an indulgent all-day menu of gourmet sandwich and salad delights. The outlet's layout is reminiscent of a Parisian patisserie, complete with an inviting pastry display. Guests can even take a slice of Café Occidental heaven home with them, thanks to our dedicated pastry boxes.
As the sun peaks in the sky, Café Occidental becomes home to one of the most beloved British traditions: afternoon tea. Of course, if desiring of a quiet space to read a book or newspaper, guests may simply wander into the adjacent library.
