Grand Hotel de la Grotte

The Grand Hotel de la Grotte has belonged to the same family for three generations.

Situated at the foot of the castle it offers a wonderful view of the Shrine over the mountains, the park and the river.

Le Grand Hôtel de la Grotte has 83 cosy individually decorated rooms, including 4 suites and 1 master suite which are all spacious.

The apartments, suites, junior suites or rooms are in Napoleon III style. They are equipped with digital satellite TV, a digital safe, mini bar, Internet access, direct dial phone, air-conditioning and with a modern bathroom. You will relax in a friendly environment and will enjoy the luxury and comfort of the hotel.

Standard room

From the room at the rear of the hotel you will have a view on the castle.

Superior room

They are situated at the front of the hotel with a view of the Sanctuaries and of the shopping strip.

Deluxe

They are situated at the front with a view of the Sanctuaries or the shopping strip and were renovated in 2002.

Suite

They are located at the front of the hotel and enable you a lovely view of the Sanctuaries. You have at your disposal a separate living room, two televisions and a butler. Two versions are available. A suite with two single beds or a with double bed.

Master Suite

Built in 2006, it is the most spacious suite in the hotel with a surface area of 100m².
Its bedroom is equipped with a King size bed, satellite television, a modern bathroom; a corner bath, and a separate shower cubicle and double sink. Its living room has leather armchairs, a romantic fireplace and a large screen TV. Through your living room you have direct access to your private terrace with a view of the shopping strip, dinning room... All this will provide an unforgettable stay.
Moreover, its functional office, including fax and Internet, enables you to work in peace. A turndown service and a butler service are also at your disposal.

Flat

Several rooms can be connected to the Master Suite. The surface area of the flat can measure up to 400m².

Facilities for disabled

There are rooms for the disabled.

As a guest of the Grand Hotel de la Grotte, you can stroll in the beautiful park of 2000 m². It has a nice view of the sanctuary and is situated close the famous castle of Lourdes. This park will allow you to unwind, relax and also to go to sanctuaries. The St Michel Gate of the Sanctuary is just 300 meters from the park.

You will also find a beautiful private pool and a nice terrace with long chairs.

There is also a fitness room with various equipment.

A small bar is at your disposal to serve you and lend petanque balls if you want to play a game.

Of course, it can also organize your cocktails and garden party.

Grand Hôtel de la Grotte welcomes you also to create your own seminar. Next to the Sanctuaries entrance, Grand Hôtel de la Grotte offers you the possibility to organize your seminar in our meeting room, with a studious and classy atmosphere for up to 30 guests in theatre layout or 20 guests in U shape format.

Table de Fébus

It is the gourmet restaurant of the hotel and is open from 7 pm till 9 pm and sometimes for lunch. Completely refurbished and re-style by renowned Architect Designer Fabien Laborde in April 2011. Exquisite decoration, silverware, unparalleled tranquillity and an exceptional service await you at our Table de Fébus.

Among gourmet à la carte dishes and menus you will find coquilles St Jacques, turbot, pavé de boeuf, local specialities and succulent desserts such as a home made soufflé with grand marnier or crêpes suzette. The international wine list offers you great wines to complement your meal.

Dress code: you are required to be smartly dressed.

Brasserie

You will be able to eat in a more contemporary style from 12 to 2 pm and from 7.30 pm till 10.30 pm. It is the favourite meeting point of the "Lourdais people", where a relaxed and four star hotel atmosphere reigns.

Specialists in fish dishes, sauces and Mediterranean cuisine will offer you an unforgettable meal for very competitive prices. Thanks to its shady terrace, you can enjoy your meal in the shade of the chestnut trees.
