Hotel Overview
Set in the Romantic Village of Fère-en-Tardenois in the province of Champagne, the Castle
welcomes guests from around the world with its elegant gardens and fine accommodation. There
are actually two Castles on the grounds. One, the Château de Fère was built in 1206 by
Robert de Dreux, grandson of Louis VI. Now in ruins and serves as a backdrop to the newer 16th
century Castle, the Hostellerie du Château. And now, this majestic fully restored hHtel invites
you to share its rich history.
Location
The Chateau de Fere is located in the Champagne region near the village of
Fere-en-Tardenois will be an unforgettable stop on your journey thanks to its historical
setting and warm reception.
Rooms
The Chateau has 6 Suites and 19 Rooms available. Individual Salons, spacious Rooms and
veritable havens of peace will let you live your moments of relaxation to the fullest. The
decor of the Rooms is inspired by the Chateau's architecture. It is both classic and rural
with modern comforts. Each Room and Apartment has a different character and furniture. The
Guest Suites are appointed with collectables envied by those who appreciate the finer
things.
Only 2 Classic Rooms and 2 Superior Rooms can accommodate 3 people. 2 Junior Suites can
accommodate 4 people. All other Rooms and Suites can only accommodate 2 people. Accommodation
for children under 10 years old is free of charge, when sharing parents Room.
Services
At the Château de Fère Hotel you can do as much or as little as you choose. Revive
your spirits over a game of Tennis. Take to the air in a hot air Balloon or make a splash
in the Pool. Tee off on the neighbouring 18-hole Golf Course of L'Ailette or hunt (season
permitting), Horse Riding, Cycle or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful
surrounding forests.
Food & Beverages
The superb Dining Room with its panelled walls, chandeliered ceilings, crystal and
elegant silverware is a regional favourite. To complement the exquisite cuisine is a remarkable
selection of 20,000 bottles of fine wine housed in the labyrinth of tunnels below the
Château.
Breakfast Special Chateau is a little bit more than a Continental one, it includes hot
beverage, fresh fruit juice, home made baked products, bread, jam, Echire butter, yogurt, fresh
fruit salad.
