Grecotel Cape Sounio
Hotel Overview
The Grecotel Cape Sounio opens in 2004 to become a unique resort in
one of the world’s most celebrated archaeological sites. Grecotel Cape Sounio
is more than just a resort, it is an experience.
Imagine enjoying the Gods’ nectar and ambrosia on the Restaurant Terrace,
ambling down the path to the beaches, submitting to a relaxing massage in the
Elixir ThalassoSpa – all within 38 kms of Athens International airport and 67
kms from the Acropolis in Athens! There are sports and activities for all the
family – from a children’s corner to watersports and tennis.
Location
Like the Temple of Poseidon, clearly visible from most bungalows, the resort
echoes the Attica landscape, the brilliant blue sea and the
clear skies of the Aegean. Set amphitheatrically on a 20-acre estate on the edge
of Sounio National Park, Grecotel Cape Sounio has 145 Bungalows
with private gardens, many with private pools.

“Cape Cuisine„
Every meal becomes a symposium when enjoyed on the restaurant’s wide terrace
in full view of Poseidon’s sanctuary – a setting as perfect for a romantic tête
a tête as it is for an inspired debate on the bigger issues of life.
Needless to say, Grecotel’s chefs can whip up fine feasts worthy of the
gods’ nectar and ambrosia.
Sink into a comfortable armchair and sip an aperitif in the Lobby Lounge
Bar and Terraces. Whilst you are soaking up the hot Aegean sun,
refresh yourself with a cooling drink or ice cream from the Beach & Pool
Bars.
