Alexander House Hotel is a four star hotel built and run by the Alexandrakis family for over twenty years. The family hotel aims to offer a personal service and to illustrate the true spirit of Cretan hospitality.

Our hotel offers spectacular views of the bay of Agia Pelagia, a traditional fishing village which offers an authentic Cretan experience. Whether it be the beautiful sunset or the fisherman arriving in the morning with their fresh fish to sell to the tavernas.

Alexander House Hotel is a calm and relaxing holiday destination ideal for couples or families looking to relax and get away from the stress of everyday life back home.

Location

Alexander House Hotel is situated on the gulf of Agia Pelagia, approximately 20 Kilometres west of Heraklion International Airport with transfer times of around 35 minutes.

Food & Beverages

Restaurant
Alexander House Hotel restaurant has a veranda area for smokers as well as beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Aghia Pelagia. Food is served in buffet form three times a day by our skilled staff.

The evening buffet offers a range of meat and fish dishes as well as salads and a selection of international cheeses.

Alacarte wine is also available on request. Our baker freshly makes our brown and white bread everyday and the range of desserts are all freshly made in-house.

Bar

Alexander House Hotel opens the snack bar from 10 am until 6 pm through out the day and at 6pm the summer garden bar opens until 1 am.

Through out the day alacarte menus are available for expresso and cappucinos as well as various snacks. The evening bar offers all local drinks on an all inclusive basis. The bar also offers and fantastic calpirinias and mojhitos on an alacarte basis.

All this while looking at the stunning views of the gulf of Aghia Pelagia.
