Hotel Overview

Danae's Villas complex is located 25km east of Heraklion International Airport, at the highest and most serene area of Koutouloufari traditional village. The complex consists of four luxury villas, identical in architectural design, but individually named and decorated after four colors most frequently observed in the Mediterranean landscape. The visitors' choice of one of the four villas will be met with satisfaction from the very first moment of their arrival, as they will find a carefully balanced combination of luxury and simplicity. The spacious and functional interior is elegantly decorated and provides moments of rest and rejuvenation. At the same time, the visitors can relax at the private pool of each villa next to the wonderful gardens and enjoy the splendid, panoramic view.

Location

Koutouloufari is a small village located at the root of Mount Harakas, 26km east of the city of Heraklion. Having maintained a traditional and peaceful character throughout the years of rapid touristic development in the surrounding region and at a close distance from sites of archaeological, historical, cultural and athletic interest, Koutouloufari is the ideal destination for those who seek an alternative vacation plan.

Driving directions

From Heraklio airport to Villas
From the exit of the airport follow the National Road with direction to Agios Nikolaos. Drive straight ahead for about 20km. Take the exit on your right to the Plateau of Lasithi and afterwards turn left for Hersonissos. Go straight ahead for 200m and turn right for Hersonissos village. After about 2km of driving straight ahead, you will find Piskopiano village. After crossing the village, you will find Koutouloufari. Almost 200m from the entrance of Koutouloufari village, you will find a stone well. Drive straight ahead for approximately another 100m and then turn right on the first small road you will meet (Electras St.). Drive straight up the road and finally turn right on the last small road, at the end of which you will find Danae’s Villas complex.

From Heraklio Port to Villas
From the exit of the port turn left on the traffic lights. Turn right on the second traffic lights you will meet and then drive straight ahead. After crossing four traffic light spots (approximately 1km), turn right to the National Road with direction to Agios Nikolaos. Drive straight ahead for about 20km. Take the exit on your right to the Plateau of Lasithi and afterwards turn left for Hersonissos. Go straight ahead for 200m and turn right for Hersonissos village.
