Casa Di Veneto, along with many other residences in the area, constitutes the “Frank” district of the upper class during the Venetian Rule (1211-1669 AD) in Crete. The design of our hotel is going to bring you back in previous centuries because of its traditional architecture. In addition, we gave to the suites names that are based on the Goddesses of Olympus from the Ancient Greek Mythology like Hera, Aphrodite, Demeter, Hestia, Athena and Artemis.
The restoration started in 2005 and was completed in the spring of 2009. The decoration and furnishing of the suites were made exclusively by the owners with selectively antique furniture, paintings, decorative designs and lighting from Avissinias square at Monastiraki in Athens and Mytiline too. Also, all of the carpets in the hotel are eastern handmade.
