CHC Athina Palace is more suitable for families and not for young people! In general in the evening there is nothing to do, and more important the hotel is rather far from big cities (the town where is situated is not exactly "Touristic town"). If you want to reach Heraklion after dinner, you can do it only by renting a car. In addition, in July - August there are a lot of people, and the service is not so good due to the big work hotel staff needs to do.
