Villa Amaryllis is built on a small development overlooking olive groves, grape yards and the distant mountains and is within walking distance of an attractive Cretan village and close to the main coastal highway.
This house is built from natural stone by artisans who are experts in buildings of this type. The stonework is a refreshing change from the more modern type of construction now widely available in Crete and has a completely different look and feel. Offering cool interiors during the hot summer months, and a wonderful traditional feeling.
The surrounding area of the villa is a botanical paradise. A large number of herbs grow there, many of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. In total, 268 endemic plants can be found in Crete. Wildflowers of spring, various trees, rare, cretan herbs, gorges and caves, wild birds as well as unique small sandy or rocky beaches could make the holiday an unforgettable experience.
