We pride ourselves in being the first to open a hotel of this standard in the Argolis region of Greece.

Kandia’s Castle Hotel, Resort and Thalasso is a most prestigious and exclusive Hotel/Thalasso which is independent and family run. Having worked in the tourist industry for the past 30 years, our aim is to ensure your total comfort so you can leave us feeling refreshed, pampered and already looking forward to your next visit.

Our 5* hotel is magnificently located on its own beach in the rural area of Kandia, only 20 minutes drive from the beautiful town of Nafplion, 15 minutes from Tolo and 165km from Athens.

The hotel is designed in a unique architectural style, which combines a castle appearance, using handcrafted stone, with the natural environment.

Grand Pool
Our Grand outdoor fresh water swimming pool is pure paradise. Around the pool there are showers, sunbeds and umbrellas which are complimentary for guests staying at the hotel.

If you don’t bring your computer with you and want to catch up on your emails or check a website you can use our internet corner where the use of our computers is complimentary to guests.

Children's Playground
Next to the beach bar we have a small outdoor children's playground with swings, slide and a couple of rockers.

Kandia's Castle is the first hotel in the Argolis region of Greece that has a Thalassotherapy Centre. The Centre boasts two indoor swimming pools and offers all the facilities for relaxation and wellness, to help make your time at Kandia's Castle a relaxing, refreshing and rejuvenating experience.

Thalasso therapy is a tried and tested therapy believed to have rejuvenating effects as well as detoxifying qualities that balance and hydrate the body and increase health and wellbeing.

Thalasso therapy involves a range of spa treatments which use salt water heated to a specific temperature to allow oligo-elements such as magnesium and potassium to be absorbed into the bloodstream through the skin whilst actively drawing out unwanted elements like excess sodium. The results of this can include a feeling of rejuvenation and increased energy.

Our Spa offers the ultimate in pampering and, whether you are young or old, our trained therapists are dedicated to all your needs.

Conference Hall
Our ground floor Conference Hall, which can hold up to 400 people, offers all the state of the art facilities.

Meeting Room
Our Meeting room, which is situated on the first floor in the rotunda area, can hold up to 30 people.

Kandia's Castle offers the choice of two outdoor and two indoor bars. It also has two indoor restaurants and the Pool Restaurant.

Aquarium Restaurant
Our Aquarium restaurant, open each evening, offers an excellent choice of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine along with fine wines.
The restaurant is spacious and airy and very unique as it is built over our aquarium. In parts the floor is made of glass so you can watch the fish swim below you whilst enjoying your meal.

The Olive Leaf Restaurant
Here in the Olive Leaf Restaurant you can start your day with our American buffet style breakfast. The Olive Leaf Restaurant offers seating either inside or on our terrace which has magical views out to the grand swimming pool and the Argolic Gulf.

Pool Restaurant
Our Pool Restaurant situated on the island in the middle of the Grand Swimming Pool offers cuisine during the day. No need to worry about having to go through the hotel to reach the restaurant, access to the Pool Restaurant is over one of the many bridges across the pool.

The Peacock Bar
Our modern bar is situated off the spacious Atrium style lobby. Here you can have a drink or a coffee sitting at the bar. Alternatively you can sit in the lobby where you’ll find comfortable, quiet and cosy corners enjoying a drink whilst chatting to your friends or just reading your newspaper. On warm days you can sit, with your drink, out on the terrace taking in the fabulous views of the Grand Swimming Pool.

Pool Bar
Our Pool Bar is open from mid morning until late offering all drinks and snacks. During the day it is the place to quench your thirst whilst enjoying a swim and sunbathing on the beach or around the Grand Swimming Pool. As evening falls watch the amazing sunset and maybe have a cocktail or two. The pool Bar turns into a magical place as the lights come on around the resort.
