War-Tower (Polemopyrgos)
The symbol of Pappoudiko, the genuine three-storey war-tower (polemopyrgos) of Mani, with the typical embrasures or loopholes (polemotrypes) used for firearms and machicolations or murder holes (zematistres) for pouring hot oil, for instance, at the enemies, overhangs the landscape and offers its guests the privilege of enjoying an unparalleled panoramic view of the impressive scenery.
Built in 1835, the tower can accommodate up to 3 people in the age range of 15-50 since indoor access from one storey to the other is only possible by steep stairs. Arches (Kamares)
The name of the basement (katogi) of the hotel’s central two-storey building (anogokatogo) – kamares (the word translates “arches” in English) – built in 1855, was not given by chance. With its characteristic arched rooms and an atmosphere resembling fairytales, this is a profoundly warm space bound to stir up the senses and be forever imprinted on the minds of its 2-4 guests.

This is a two-storey house with an impressive “megalithic” structure and the typical massive stone slabs and stone beams – the so-called makronia. Guesthouse (For Disabled Guests)
