Hotel Miramare was built south of the town of Eretria, the historic city of ancient times. It lies amid green all around with Mediterranean vegetation of mature olive, mandarin, lemon, orange, fig and almond trees.

Hotel Miramare was built in 1981 and has been in operation by the Stratis family ever since. In 2008 it was again renovated.

The Hotel spreads in a area of 22.000 square metres of gardens and with 94 rooms in the central building and in the 4 annexes. The service in the Hotel is of outmost importance to us as well as the friendliness of our people, but above all we owe our fame to our exquisite cuisine which is based on Greek olive oil and fresh ingredients from the local market.

The picturesque bay in front is only 130meters away and it has easy access via an underground passage.

Both the town of Eretria and Hotel Miramare are only 70 minutes away from Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport thus making it an ideal destination for short or family holidays.

All rooms of Hotel Miramare are located in the central building and 4 annexes built in a unique natural environment with plenty of vegetation and trees all around.

The set-up of the buildings is such that the majority of the rooms have a view at an angle of the sea and the Attica Coastline across.

There is plenty of sun for most parts of the day.

For the renovation of the hotel we used environmentally friendly materials, that is to say the rooms were furnished in wood, the bathrooms were faced with marble from the nearby island of Skyros, all floors as well as windows were replaced with wood.

The beds of COCO-Mat Co. are made from 100% natural materials with no metal parts or springs. All of the hotel rooms are spacious, bright and airy thus creating the sense of comfort and relaxation.

There is access to satellite TV and to the Internet. The safe and fridge are also among the amenities of each room.

Standard Rooms Annex

Rooms in annex buildings are spread in four beautiful low buildings with a tiled roof. There are lawns in front with olive trees and all kind if Greek vegetation. At the back of the annex buildings there are high cypresses and mulberry trees that offer a shelter from the Greek summer heat.

The customer is our priority to all our renovations. That is why we have equipped all our room in annex buildings with beds and mattresses from the well-known company Cocomat who deals with products made 100% from natural materials.

In most rooms of the annexes there is enough room for an extra normal size single bed. In this way these rooms are ideal for families

Deluxe Rooms & Suites New Green Building

The brand new building of rooms and suites of Miramare Hotel is located amongst beautiful gardens with plants and trees from the Greek nature. It was inaugurated in 2013 and consists of 14 rooms and suites. The orientation and the architectural concept of the building offer safety and relaxation for its guests. All rooms with view to the gardens and the gulf of Evia. The large green spaces, the proximity to the sport courts of the hotel, the security of the place and the large rooms turn this building ideal for families with young children.
 
For the construction of the new building, eco friendly materials and techniques were applied in order to minimize the energy losses of the building. For the rooms air conditioning we use latest technology heat pumps. Solar panels are used to heat the water of the rooms. In this way we minimize the energy footprint without compromising guests’ comfort.
 Deluxe rooms and suites in the new building have floors covered with ceramic tiles, marble decorated bathrooms with fixed shower, double glazed windows made by wood and large comfortable verandas facing a big area of green.All rooms & suites have a long wooden piece of furniture which can be used as working area.All rooms & suites have led backlight for comfort and relaxation.

Conferences & Meetings

Hotel Miramare Eretria has two conference rooms situated on the pool level of the Skyros Bungalow both of which have natural light.

Their closeness to the pool guarantees quality coffee breaks plenty of space for meetings and cocktails before or after the conference.

In winter there is access to the hotel through a closed passage whereas coffee breaks can be organized by the fireplace and the Lobby Bar.

Both rooms have exclusive entrances and their own sanitary area.

Open Air Swimming Pools

The open air swimming pool is amid a garden in full bloom and it is right next to Pool Bar.
On the one side of the pool there are pergolas with tables one can sit at and enjoy their drink by the Bar.

On the other side there is a lawn with umbrellas and easy chairs amid season flower plants and olive trees.

The water in the pool is non-salty whereas the shape of the pool is free .

Beach

Picturesque Bay with a natural beach of sand & pebbles just 130 meters from the Hotel.Access to the beach is through a safe underground passage.
The use of sun beds and umbrellas is complimentary

The water deepens smoothly whereas the water temperature is quite pleasant even in the month of October.

Food & Drink In Miramare Hotel Eretria

During the last 30 years Hotel Miramare has become famous for its deliciously traditional cuisine which still remains uncomplicated.
Day in day out we select fresh vegetables and fruit from the local markets and producers.

We pay special attention to products in season and the daily preparation of our dishes for our customers’ maximum enjoyment.

Pool Bar

Smartly located around the main pool of the Hotel, Snack-Café serves carefully selected dishes of the traditional Greek cuisine and local dishes besides the standard menu of its Mediterranean Cuisine.
All tables are arranged around the pool under a pergola with jasmine and ivy.

Snack-Café serves refreshing cocktails or coffee to those relaxing on the easy chairs under the umbrellas around the two pools of the Hotel.

After the evening buffet enjoy your drink while attending entertaining events around the pool and under the stars.

Main Restaurant

The main restaurant is on the 1st floor of the Hotel. The restaurant area overlooks the gardens of the complex whereas the windows all around let plenty of light in.
The veranda of the restaurant has an exquisite view of the Gulf of Evia and it is surrounded by trees and rich vegetation.

Our customers have the chance to enjoy breakfast or dinner among trees with birds singing and feeling the rejuvenating sea breeze.

Lobby Bar

The Lobby Bar is on the reception floor. It serves all the surrounding area and the reception.
Bright with big openings you enjoy the beautiful view of the citrus trees gardens and the playground.

In winter time you can relax by the fireplace next to the lobby Bar.
