Accommodation Types
MAKRINITSA STUDIOS PELION : Independent studio, with bathroom and fireplace, which is located in the ground floor, next to the main house and conveys with it, if needed. It has its own separate area with fridge and kitchen sink. The ceiling is whole made of chestnut wood in a traditional construction. The wall is made of rocks and is accented by a special elaboration called "armoloi". The view is magnificent.
MAKRINITSA APARTMENTS PELION : The apartment ( maisonette ) is very spacious and can accommodate up to 6 people. When you open the wooden, old door of the Residence, you enter the compound area of the ground floor. The whole house is made of rock with profound, wooden frames. The ceiling is made of chestnut beams. Here, the is an old fireplace with hand-made painting. Rock-framed sofas with textile cushions and an old, wooden round table compose a traditional sitting room. At the back, in the kitchen area, there is an old case, which is used as a closet. Here you can see the old plate-rack. At the walls there are copper and ceramic equipment. An old credenza decorates the dining room, with plates of the old days. Stepping on the wooden staircase you find yourself at the first floor. Here there is a small sitting room with a french window. The sofa here opens to a double bed. The view from this spot is captivating. The wall is decorated with paintings of the local artist, Theofilos. In this floor there are two wooden doors with hand-made carvings, which lead to the bedrooms.
ROOM 1 : It has a private bathroom and fireplace. The light enters the room from the two big windows, one viewing Portaria and the other viewing Volos. The paining over the fireplace is made by a local artist. The view is boundless.
ROOM 2 : It contains a private bathroom. From this room you have view to the moutain and the gully. Here, the old iron-made bed and the old-fashioned commodes, give a romantic touch to the room.
