Radisson Sas Hotel, Rome is the only hotel in the world with an archeological site in its foyer. An ancient roman road from the 2nd century A.D, that once lead to the nearby Esquiline. One of Rome's seven hills, the Esquiline was originally a burial ground for the poor until Emperor Augustus turned the area into a quite residential district away from the bustling activities of the Roman Forum.

The Radisson SAS, Rome is located in the heart of Rome on the Esquiline Hill, one of the seven Roman hills, adjacent to the Termini Central Railway Station and within easy access of the express trains connecting to Fiumicino Airport, which at 32 km distance is only a 20 minute train ride away.

The Hotel consists of 235 deluxe rooms including 27 fitness and sweet home suites and 14 rooms for disabled guests. The rooms are furnished in three locally designed styles: Wave, Raft, and Elle, each with its own identity.

Room Types

• Double room: The "Raft" room, where the shower is freed from the confines of the bathroom to inhabit the bedroom. The bed, shower, sink and wardrobe are moulded together within a structure of polished mahogany.
• Suite: Each suite has its own identity. Floors vary from wooden parquet to pvc. Beds heads are moulded into the shape of waves.  Lighting becomes a wind filled sail. A working surface could become a bed head or conceal a bath. 
• Sweet Home Suite: This Suite consists of  2 adjoining rooms with a living area, 2 baths and a Jacuzzi.
• Fitness Suite: The Fitness Suite is furnished with all the exercise equipment a guest could need including work-out equipment on its terrace.
• Presidential Suite: The 100m2 Presidential Suite sleeps up to four guests and is furnished with a 2 metre Jacuzzi, a separate guest bathroom and a terrace with its own grass lawn and a view over the ancient Roman aqueduct.
• Business Suite: The Business Suite has its own lounge with leather arm chairs and work stations.

Guests can savour modern Italian specialties, where traditional recipes are coloured by original touches.  Zest: The 170-seater "Zest" serves breakfast and light snacks in a spectacular setting overlooking the city.
