Moreover, Civita Castellana is a quiet city where the tourists can walk in all peace. Buses arrive at the place of the Cathedral (50m) and can pull over on the parking which is reserved to them, at only 120m from the hotel.

The town of Civita Castellana is perfectly located to discover the northern part of Latium, the A1 motorway, which goes from Milan to Naples, passes only 15 kms far from the city (Magliano Sabina exit). We are at 35 minutes from Viterbo and Orvieto, 45 minutes from Rome and 1 hour from the Vatican and from the airports. Civita Castellana is the ideal starting point to visit the gardens of Latium: Caprarola and the Villa Farnese, Bagnaia and the Lante Villa, Bomarzo and the monsters’gardens, Tivoli and the Villa d’ Este, the Vatican’s gardens.

The residence offers 42 rooms, including 8 suites. Every room is equipped with fridge, coloured and satellite television, hairdryer, phone and modem line for computer, air conditioning which can be regulated individually.

A fitness centre with gym has been created in the old wine cellar, and in the Etruscan cave a Jacuzzi and a sauna.

GOLF: 21,3km (ca. 20/25 '): Golf Club "the Oaks" - federal technical centre - 18 holes, mt.6462, Par 72 - 3 executive holes - Golf Academy. Closed on Wednesdays.

The distance of the Golf Club "The Oaks" is classified, technically, among the ten best fields in Europe and it is based on the strict norms of the Italian Federation Golf. The distance, also accommodating the Federal Technical Centre, covers all tipologies of game, with the possibility of having use of its selected instructors and of the most modern equipment of the Golf Academy.

GOLF: 39 km (ca. 35 '): Golf Club "Olgiata" - 18 holes, mt.6347, Par 72 + 9 holes, mt. 2947, Par 36. Open from hour 8,00 to hour 24.00. Closed on working Mondays. Situated in one of the greenest and more exclusive private zones in Rome, the Golf Club Olgiata proposes practical fields, pro-shops, golf carts and caddies to chartering.

VALLELUNGA RACE TRACK: 27 km (ca.20/23 ') - Today the automobile race track of Vallelunga, managed by ACI Vallelunga, society of the ACI Italy, is characterized by an image of modernity and of great efficiency. It is not only the most active centre of promotion of the calendar of contests car and motion, but the automobile race track of Vallelunga also accommodates great events like the car launch, the presentation of products linked to the automotive world, thanks to all its new infrastructures.

Dynamic POLYGON for shooting: Futura Club: 6,5 km (ca.10 ') – Open on Wednesdays - Thursdays - Fridays from 2 pm to sunset. Open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to sunset.

This structure was created for the development of shooting dynamic sport activities, where whatever “light arm”, with whatever operation system (Police and Army guns included) may be used. The Polygon covers an area of three hectares, it accommodates IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) competitions with great success also abroad.

NATURE RESERVE of the VICO LAKE: 20km (ca.30') The Excursionist Centre was born from the love for nature and its main purpose is sharing this passion with those who wish to evade from everyday life, “living” again the forgotten feelings that only nature can transmit. The eople who manage the Centre organize activities of team building for societies but also for private customers with chartering of: land rover, quad, canoes and sailing boats, mountain bike (orienteering), horse riding for all ages, tibetan bridge and cableway, trekking in the Natural Reservoir with guides GAE. They organize "adventure weekends" with courses of guide in cross-country vehicles, rafting and orienteering, weekends in quad.
