Hotel Santa Tecla Palace

The Santa Tecla Palace is a tourist centre on the beautiful Ionica coast in front of Acireale. The hotel is situated on an area of 22.000.mq directly on the seafront and surmounted by the majestic Etna. The structure of 190 rooms in part faces the sea while the rest is surrounded by raised lush Mediterranean gardens bounded by the typical stone walls made of lava rock.

The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is only 30km. Alitalia is the national carrier, a member of the Sky Team Alliance, which guarantees the best connections. Catania is also well served by Wind Jet, Air One and Meridiana, Air Malta, Air Canada, Easy Jet, Tuifl y.com, Air Berlin, Blue Express, Volare Web, Helvetic, My Air. The Santa Tecla Palace is easily accessible on the Motorway 18 Catania/Messina, exit Acireale and then the SS114 in the direction of Catania, where you’ll fi nd many indications for both the village of Santa Tecla and the hotel. The nearest Port is Catania only 20km where there are many Cruise and scheduled. Marina di Riposto is only 12km which is a major port and equipped for pleasure craft.  The railway station of Acireale is 3km and on the Messina - Catania/Syracuse line. All major trains make stops at this station.

THE ROOMS 190 rooms on six floors: 94 Deluxe rooms (47 sea view - 41 garden view) 87 Classic rooms (43 sea view - 44 garden view) 8 Suite sea view - 1 Suite garden view. 70 of the 190 rooms can accommodate a cot or third bed. The rooms have a minimum area of 30 square meters and are equipped with mini bar, telephone, air conditioning, fl at screen TV with international channels and Sky channels, pay TV, internet ADSL, safe, hairdryer. Nearly all of the rooms has a small terrace with table and chairs. The suites have fl at-screen TVs, courtesy kit, bathrobes, whirlpool bath and are a minimum size of  45 square meters; Check In Hr. 15:00 Check Out Hr. 12:00

BEACH AND POOL Beach - The large terrace on the cliff is equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas free of charge. For your comfort and entertainment from June 1st to September 30th the suggested bathing area is bounded by small buoys and 2 floating platforms are installed for relaxation and diving.
