This is the first Hotel in Taormina, in front of the Roman-Greek
Theatre, it dates back to 1873 and represents the major expression of Framon
style.
In a park of 25.000m², populated by numerous typical floral species, the

HistoryIn 1873, the Grand Hotel Timeo, Taormina's first hotel, is born and a

At the end of the 19° century, it becomes the favourite destination of
reigning monarchs, aristocrats, politicians, illustrious scholars and famous
artists: William II Kaiser of Germany, Umberto II, Marconi, Gide, Guy de
Maupassant, Liz Taylor, Richard Burton.
Its hospitality has its roots in the noble tradition of Sicily.
