Urthaler Hotel

The Urthaler Hotel is sheer nature. It was built purely organically, without chemical materials, and is radiation-proof. The walls are made of wood and glass, the floors of wood or natural stone, the carpets are hand-woven. Healthy, allergy-free and one of a kind in Europe.

Walls, ceilings and floors of the Urthaler rooms are made of untreated spruce and larch timber which was cut during a certain phase of the moon. Wooden dowels penetrate the massive wooden beam walls. The power of the wood shields against any kind of radiation. Instead of magnetic room key cards, there is a return to the old-style hotel room key at the Urthaler, in order to keep out this kind of radiation, too.

At an altitude of 2,000 metres, allergy sufferers can breathe freely once more, in a healthy indoor climate free of allergens. The guests consider the mild scent of the wood to be stimulating and reassuring at the same time, leading to an especially deep and relaxed sleeping experience. The balconies and terraces made of wood have a splendid view of the marvellous scenery of the Dolomites.

"Alpe di Siusi" is the largest plateau in Europe. With the breathtaking view to the Dolomites, the Seiser Alm is always sunny. The Hotel Urthaler is situated directly on the slopes and close to skier's transportation facilities - as well as on the hiking trails.

The Urthaler has 51 rooms and 3 suites, of a state-of-the-art design, with an exclusive atmosphere. Healthy sleeping and living in a climate free of radiation and free of allergens.

When sleeping on king-size natural rubber mattresses, the body is perfectly balanced and wrapped up in wadding-soft organic bedclothes, woven especially for the Urthaler. The glass bathroom, with its green granite design, is like an elegant, private SPA in your own hotel room. A clay-clad timber wall disguises the heating element and provides for a pleasant room climate. From the terrace or balcony, all rooms have an unobstructed view of the unique mountain architecture of the Dolomites.
