Deep in the green hills of Maremma, in the heart of Tuscany under a sky lit by stars, a Castle was constructed. Today, it has been rescued from ruin and transformed into an exclusive luxury retreat where you will feel the welcoming, comforting touch of the owners, Aurora and Carlo Baccheschi Berti. With a clear blue sky, you can perceive the sea in the far distance and the fresh salty sea breeze... The Castle of Vicarello, which dates back to the 12th century, has been the subject of an extensive restoration project involving not only the ancient fortified building but also the immense gardens which surround it. Today Castello di Vicarello serves as luxurious historic residence for an elite clientele.
