occupies 240 hectares of land close to Porto San Stefano on the
Argentario Peninsula. The estate consists of 200 hectares of woodland
and open land and 40 hectares of cultivated grounds. There are 500
olive trees, 3 hectares of truffle wood and 6000 rose bushes, there
are also fruit orchards, organic vegetable gardens and walnut tree.
The gardens were designed my Mr. Pejrone, one of Italy's most
respected and famous landscape gardeners.
The gardens have
many woodland walks and pathways and there are two Astroturf tennis
courts, one of which can also be used as a 5 a side football pitch.
Located close to one of the tennis courts, is the gym with Sauna and
Hammam together with changing rooms and showers. There is also a mini
golf, a children's play area and a helipad. The estate has its own
private consecrated chapel which is ideal for a private romantic
wedding or renewal of vows. Set away from the main house and reached
via a woodland walk is the 11 x 5 meter swimming pool with jet stream
which is surrounded by lawn and adjacent to the Islamic garden with
17th century fountain. Here the Arabic style equipped kitchen making
it a perfect venue for lunch. Closer to the main property is
an
Indian style garden with water feature and on ornate pavilion covered
in roses, an ideal spot for afternoon tea.
