Fontanelle is without doubt one of our loveliest Tuscan properties. The property is in a spectacular position, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, cypresses and with views of the surrounding hills. The house has recently been restored and furnished to an exceptionally high standard by the owner, a well-known Italian interior designer. The house has been featured in several books and magazines, including House and Garden, Elle Decor and Tuscany Interiors. The rooms have been painted and furnished throughout in warm yellows and terracottas, which blend perfectly with the brick tiled floors, exposed beams and sunny open spaces. The magnificent living room with vaulted ceilings opens to the rear of the house to a pretty terrace with vines, pots of flowers and views over the countryside. Off this terrace is a covered dining terrace, also with wonderful views.

Fontanelle is located to the west of Montalcino, an area renowned for its beauty and for its wines, especially the famous Brunello di Montalcino. ....remember... Montalcino (nearest village with shops, P/O) is in 9 km. You can visit the beatiful town of Siena in 50 km and Grosseto (coast) in 45 km.

This spectacular Villa disposes of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people, plus six hosted in the Guest House. Ground Floor Entrance hall; large beautifully furnished living room with fireplace and french windows opening onto the terrace and garden; covered dining terrace; dining room also opening to terrace; kitchen. In a separate wing, sitting room and, accessible through a staircase, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. First Floor 2 double bedrooms with king-size 4- poster beds and en-suite bathroom. Sitting room with TV, fireplace and sofa-bed. Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Separate outbuilding to front of the house with laundry. Guest House There is separate outbuilding at approximately 50 meters from the main house. The Guest House has a total of 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. It is available on request, at extra cost.
