ancient Custom Station belonging to the 12th century, has been masterfully
restored respecting the original architecture its forms and materials in every
way.
Filetta has been restored to create a special environment for businessmen and
vacationers.

origins. Bagnaia is an ancient medieval village where history, art and culture

It all started on March 11, 1445, when Fiorini Jacopo di Galgano Bichi made
this treasure his own.
Location
Within the traditional estate of Borgo La Bagnaia, just opposite to
Bagnaia property, there is Borgo di Filleta, a historical post
office and an ideal place for leisure and business. The Borgo di Filetta is
located in a strategic position between Siena and Gosseto, surrounded by
peaceful wonderful landscapes of nature.

- Florence Airport 82 km 1 Hour Grosseto Airport: 62 km - 40 minutes
- By taxi: We are at your disposition to organise your transfer from your
arrival place to the hotel.
- Siena Railway Station: 12 km - 15 minutes. 90 minutes to Florence,
Grosseto and Chiusi (connection to Rome)
- By car: From the North take Highway A1, exit Firenze Certosa, then Freeway
to Siena (62 km), then Freeway 223 to Grosseto, 12 km from Siena turn left.
From the south take Highway A1, exit Bettole Val di Chiana, then Freeway 326
to Siena (50 km), then Freeway 223 to Grosseto. 12 km from Siena turn left.
Food & Beverages
The Filetta Restaurant, La Locanda del Fantino, is defined
by arches, vaults and the special quality of its lights. It has a special humour
created by the oil paintings of dogs dressed as their masters would have been
dressed. Beside this large Room, smaller Rooms are available for special
meetings. The La Locanda del Fantino integrates the medieval
structure and will stand up to any gourmet demand. Its vintage wines are in easy
reach of the most demanding wine steward.
The Village also offers a Cafeteria with its typical Tuscanian specialties.
