Ca Maria Adele
Hotel Overview
Welcome! As soon as you enter the door of Ca’
Maria Adele, you will be plunged into the atmosphere of this luxurious
Venetian residence. The two entrances, one from the land and one from the water,
reflect the richness in contrasts and emotions of the place that is hosting you,
and of the town to which it belongs. The precious, typically Venetian ceiling
with wooden rafters dating back to the 16th century creates a contrast with the
modern design of the reception, with its modern design and African wood. On the
one side, you will see the enchanting, ancient façade of ‘Santa Maria
della Salute’, on the other side the modern rendering of white marble
matched with crystal, building the lovely stairs which lead to the intimacy of
the rooms on the upper floors. The sight of real boats sliding along the canal
at your side alternates with an internal waterway where two astonishing boats
quietly float, and here you can take place and begin your tour of one of the
most enchanting towns in the world, bearing in your mind that Venice has
a watery soul!
Location
Facing onto a canal and with views directly
over the magnificent church of Santa Maria della Salute, Ca Maria
Adele enjoys a luxurious location in Venice’s most exclusive,
charming and tranquil quarter.
Just one minute from St Mark’s Square,
the hotel is within easy reach either by public or private transport, thanks to
the canal landing leading into the reception lobby.
Rooms
Among the 14 rooms spread across the four
floors of the palazzo, the five concept rooms deserve special mention. Designed
to satisfy the highest demands of all guests and finding their inspiration in
the history of Venice, these rooms lend a distinctive atmosphere to any stay.
Concept Rooms: The five themed rooms
have been conceived to offer you a stay ‘to measure’, creating spaces
inspired to the history of Venice. Such similitudes evoke the past and lead you
into the history of the most beautiful town in the world, in five different
ways.
- The Doge's Room: A rich red
brocade covers the walls of this room, ideally conceived to host the highest
authority in the
Venetian Republic, that is, the Doge. The luxury of the materials,
the glimmering colours of the imposing chandelier, the preciousness of gold
and the sight of this enchanting area of Venice will make you feel the
master of the town for one night. On the day after, only the Doge’s
Palace itself will make you feel at home.
- The Fireside Room: In this room
you can recognize the whiteness of the marble with which Venice is built.
This same marble, engraved and modelled, makes up the chimney that dominates
this romantic room…in the most romantic town in the world, while from the
windows of this magic and relaxing place you will hear the sound of the
water gently splashing on the venerable, white stones.
- The Moores Room: Venice
has an exciting history of interaction with the populations it wanted to
conquer (or, who wanted to conquer it). In the fight for the dominion over
distant lands, during the crusades, the Republic of Venice was the
protagonist of some of the most thrilling and fascinating pages of history,
from antiquity to modern times. Voiceless witnesses of past times, the Moors
are there to offer you still unknown stories of the glory of an enchanted
town
- The Oriental Room: Gold and blue
symbolize Venice and its dominion over the sea. From the canals of
the lagoon, long routes bring to mysterious and legendary countries, signs
of the courage of the adventurous people who first united Europe with the
far East. If you have ever dreamed with Marco Polo’s ‘Il
Milione’, you cannot help sleeping in this room, to live the charm of
the ancient silk route again.
- La Sala Noir: The hues of pepper,
cocoa, clover and other rich spices melt here in an incredible mosaic of
colours that will charm your senses. The result is a room voluptuous and hot
like the load of the ships which from far-away lands carried the products
building for centuries the richness of Venice.
Deluxe Rooms: Meant for the guests
who like neutral tones and the nuances of wood and sand, rooms made precious by
damask tapestries in the same hues, by the ancient stones in the floor ‘alla
veneziana’ and from the illuminating glasses from Murano. Her you find the
exact meeting point between opulence and simplicity, a relaxing and sober space.
All Rooms Offer:

- Air condition
- Mini bar
- Safe box

Food & Beverages
Terrace: Here is a new space to be
enjoyed for breakfast, but ideal also for a drink, sitting among cushions
covered with Oriental silks.
The atmosphere of this open, public area is inspired to Morocco, its
vivid colours and warm hues, lighted by the famous lanterns with multi-coloured
glasses. From this romantic and exotic atmosphere rises still another harmony, a
further matching of elements, meant to make your stay at Ca’ Maria Adele
special and new from every point of view.
Breakfast Room: The comfortable
breakfast room welcomes you on the first floor of Ca’ Maria Adele to
wish you a special good morning before setting forth on your magic adventure
along the enchanting ‘calli’ (narrow streets typical of Venice) and campi
(squares) of Venice. From its terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view
of the Church ‘Santa Maria della Salute’, and its stately domes will
surely make your awakening unique. Precious damask tapestries and a wonderful,
original chandelier from Murano create the ideal atmosphere to taste the
specialties of Ca’ Maria Adele, cooked daily with fresh.
