Open All Year... Built within the grounds of one of the historic Quintas of the city of Funchal, in traditional architectural style, stands the unique five-star hotel, Quintinha São João. It is here that the resurrection of the magic of the old residences of Madeira from days gone by comes to life.

The Hotel consists of 34 standard Rooms, 3 Junior Suites and 6 Suites, all with an attractive Living area separated from the conventional sleeping area, giving a very spacious atmosphere. In addition, the Rooms have a Balcony overlooking the gardens and surrounding flora.

The Morgadinha Restaurant, situated in an old-style converted adjoining building, offers a variety of regional and international specialities. Of special note are the culinary delights of Goan origin, a former Portuguese colony in India are served by pleasant, efficient staff in a most welcoming atmosphere.
