The hotel is named after an old fort (fuerte), which is now a small museum situated in its gardens. The Hotel is spacious and has a relaxing atmosphere. Two restaurants and a coffee shop provide a wide choice of dining for guests at the El Fuerte hotel Marbella. The ‘Olivo’ restaurant serving breakfast and dinner is located within the main hotel, and a coffee shop serving snacks is available throughout the day. The ‘Beach Club El Fuerte’ is open from 11.00am until 5.00pm daily and is famous for its varied fish dishes. This restaurant is located on the beach and is linked to the main hotel building via an underground passage. The hotel bar offers a large range of beverages to suit every taste and dancing or entertainment is provided on most evenings.
