Plaza del Angel Hotel

The Hotel Plaza del Ángel is in the very heart of Salamanca, just a stone's throw from the main square of Plaza Mayor. The building is of stone from Villamayor, an easy-to-carve stone typical of the Salamanca quarry, which takes on a golden colour after exposure to the sun.

The Hotel's owners, Carlos Ramos and María Ruipérez, have wanted to create a hotel along very simple unpretentious lines, without forgetting the tiniest detail to ensure their guests enjoy their stay as if they were in their own homes. While the guest relaxes in this atmosphere the professional team provides personalised and distinguished service for your comfort. Carlos and María have personally designed the Hotel's every detail, creating a very special atmosphere, complemented by the fact that they manage the hotel themselves, thus giving it a highly personal character with their direct and friendly service

Fine materials have been used for its construction, such as marble and wood and all with a perfect finish. Furthermore, the bed and bathroom linen are of great quality, produced with great care in fabrics with natural textures.

The Hotel Plaza del Ángel offers 23 Rooms & Suites. The furniture in the rooms is made by craftsmen and hand-decorated, designed and produced in fine woods. The bed linen is specially produced with natural fabrics. Both the English-style cretonnes and the eiderdowns are the hotel's own design.

The Las Delicias de Don Antonio Restaurant boasts an excellent cuisine. Guests may choose from the breakfast buffet in the morning and throughout the day from an endless list of tapas and dishes that range from a varied a la Carte menu to the daily set menu or menus that the guest may design to their own special fancy. All the food is carefully prepared, beautifully presented and made from top quality produce.

The kitchen staff love creating new dishes to the delight of our guests. Our Restaurant is famous for its excellent menu of cured meats and acorn-fed Iberian hams from the county of Guijuelo.
