Villa Gransholm

The Hotel Villa Gransholm is located in the countryside, not far from the glassworks region, between Vaxjo and the railway centre of Alvesta. In lovely varied country, close to many lakes.

A small turn-of-the-last-century hotel with personal service. Hosts place great emphasis on food and on creating superb local dishes.

The Restaurant is composed of two large adjoining rooms with high ceilings and large windows. One of the dining rooms is in Gustavian style and boasts two chandeliers in Venetian style. The other room has more of an Empire feel with hand-painted wallpaper and ornate stucco. The Hotel serves classic Swedish food, based on carefully selected local ingredients. Quality linen, fresh flowers and candles provide atmosphere in this stylish 100-year old Villa.

Large Lounges adjoin the Restaurant can seat 60-70 guests.
