This is a truly lovely old house in a beautiful setting in southern Sweden. The staff are friendly and the service is very good. However while we had a beautiful sunny, old-fashioned room, it and the other rooms of the house (ding room for example) are clearly in great need of refreshment, with paint peeling from most ceilings, bathrooms being very outdated. Breakfast was lovely, and in a really nice room.
The quality versus price ratio is not so good, simply because you pay luxury/boutique hotel prices for a hotel that needs quite considerable touching up.
