Location
Gstaad Saanenland is
located in the Southwest of Switzerland,
right on the border of the French-speaking area.
The region can be easily reached by train or by car from the Thunersee
(Lake of Thun) area or from the Lake of Geneva area
and also from the region of Gruyère.

Rooms
The Classic Rooms are facing north, and have their
own charm and style. Everything is held in the typical Swiss mountain
style with a comfortable size of a minimum of 31m². Most have a
connecting door to some of the Junior Suites.
The Superior Rooms are facing south overlooking the beautiful
gardens and the spectacular Swiss Alps. Constructed as a corner room
and a few beeing completely remodelled, one can enjoy the fascinating
view from the balcony.
The Deluxe Rooms feature also south view. They are larger with
a minimum size of 46m² and have a comfortable sitting area. Featuring
an elegant style most were recently renovated.
Junior Suites
For those who desire the ultimate in luxury, the Junior Suites
will surely fulfill all of your needs. These one-bedroom suites offer
up to 60m² to relax after a tense day.
Let yourself fall down into the luxurious linens. The 29
Junior Suites are all generously and with finesse furnished, reflecting
a relaxed ambiance with a spacious sitting area. Two different
categories are at your disposal; Medium and Deluxe with beautiful view
over the garden or the town of Gstaad.
Suites
The Gstaad Palace Suites have panoramic view over the
captivating scenery of Gstaad and the surrounding mountains.
Pure elegance combined with every possible comfort and
amenity, the Suites create a suitable and distinguished setting for
stylish living. Separate sitting rooms with a dining area are ideal for
leisurely breakfasts or for private cocktail and dinner parties.
All of the Suites come with king-size bed and a luxury
bathroom with bath tub and shower. Interconnections with other rooms
are available as on option.
Tower Suites
With an outstanding view over Gstaad and the surrounding
mountains, each of the two Tower Suites is composed of a sitting room
with dining area and two spacious bedrooms with bathrooms - a total
surface of approximately 90m².
The Tower Suites enjoy a spectacular setting in the towers of
the hotel with superb views over the surrounding scenic splendour.
Bed and bathrooms of the Tower Suites stand for pure luxury
and the ultimate in elegance.

Penthouse Suite
Located on the roof of the Gstaad Palace the spectacular 240m²
Penthouse Suite offers you a breathtaking setting with panoramic view
over Gstaad.
Surrounded by a wonderful 150 m² terrace providing small
recreation areas, such as your very own sauna and Jacuzzi.
A private elevator provides total privacy and security.
Pure luxury with your own foyer and a little kitchenette,
three bedrooms with bathrooms and fully equipped with flat-screen TV,
separate showers and steam baths. The impressive and noble dining and
living room invites for a cozy evening at the fireplace or to an
elegant private dinner.

Check-in is anytime after 3:00 p.m., local time, on the day of arrival,
and check-out is anytime before 1:00 p.m.

at your disposal 24 hours.

cot, a Deluxe room is highly recommended as these have sufficient space
for the addition of cribs and cots.

The hotel has different parking alternatives, all to satisfy the
guests' and visitors' needs. Free of charge parking on the parking
place in front of the hotel. The underground garage is at your diposal
at extra charge. You will recieve an electronic key at the reception
desk.
- Ski Rental
The staff of "Hermenjat Sports" would be delighted to take care of your
ski equiment.
- Pet Policy
Small pets are permitted in the hotel at extra charge. Pets must always
be accompanied by their owners or be kept in a kennel. Pets must not be
left unattended in the room. Pets are not allowed at the Restaurants.

Since June 2006 the Gstaad Palace offers a new satellite system with
more than 200 channels in the rooms.

Tennis & Squash
Every summer the Gstaad Palace opens its
four outdoor tennis courts right next to the hotel. Enjoy this fabulous
sport while having a stunning view over Gstaad’s nature and its
mountains.
During the entire summer season, the Gstaad Palace and tennis
legend Mr. Roy Emerson offer you “The Roy Emerson
Tennis Week”.
One week of tennis, fun, experience, and much more are
awaiting you! In case of rain and bad weather there are indoor
tennis courts available nearby in Gstaad.
Furthermore, everybody certainly knows the “Allianz
Swiss Tennis Open Gstaad”. During this week, the
world’s best tennis players are fighting for one of the most important

Golf
Playing Golf on one of the most beautiful 18-hole Golf courses
in the Alps
Playing Golf in Switzerland is not only a sport, but also
enjoying the nature. Switzerland actually has 91 Golf courses. About 70
percent are 18-holes and 30 percent are 9-holes. From the topographical
and climatically standpoint they are all very different.
The Golf course Gstaad-Saanenland
(1400 m ü. M.) has been built in 1960/61. It is located in the middle
of a beautiful alpine landscape of the Bernese Oberland, away from
traffic and noise in a protected area and a flat moor of national
importance. The course has been carefully integrated in the countryside
and offers you lots of sun and a mild climate.
When hungry, you can enjoy the specialties in the club house,
prepared by the top chef Robert Speth from the restaurant Chesery in
Gstaad. Enjoy the sporty and familiar atmosphere spread out by the club
members with lots of style and class.
The outstanding and unique Driving-Range (45 Knock offs,
partially under roof), Putting- and Pitching-Green as well as the
training local are public and accessible for every interested person.
The Golf club offers a large supply during the hole season for new
comers, Beginners and Handicap players. Also for non members.
The course is playable from May 13 to October 31. Guests are
always welcome. Valid member card and Handicap 36 are necessary.
Independent golfers such as ASGI, VCG, League Française and others pay
one and a half times the Green fee.
You reach the Golf course in Saanenmöser from Gstaad in about
15 minutes.
