Room Types:

Fairmont Room: Located in the Main and Manor wings, Fairmont rooms are comfortable for two occupants.

Fairmont View Room: Fairmont View rooms are well-appointed guest rooms equipped with all standard amenities.  These cozy rooms offer a variety of beautiful valley views. Best suited for two occupants, they have a chair and table. Available on non-smoking floors only.

Deluxe Room: Deluxe rooms offer the largest regular guest accommodations at The Fairmont Banff Springs. Rooms are located in the Main building, Manor wing or in the Conference Center and are suitable for up to four adult occupants.

Deluxe View Room: Deluxe View rooms are located throughout the hotel and offer a variety of beautiful valley views. More spacious than Fairmont rooms, they are perfect for travelers requiring more living space. Comfortable for up to four people, they are available on smoking and non-smoking floors.

Signature Room: Signature Rooms are luxuriously furnished in Scottish Highland or elegant traditional decor. Rooms are located in the Main or Manor wings of the hotel.  There are two configurations for the Signature room.

Main Wing: Signature rooms have unique architectural features that reflect the era in which the Hotel was constructed. These rooms are comfortable for two people and are available in smoking and non-smoking. 

Manor Wing: Signature rooms are comfortable and designed to reflect the familiar surroundings of home. These elegant traditional-styled rooms can accommodate from two to four people depending on bed configuration.

Junior Suite: Junior Suites offer spacious accommodations with a defined bedroom and sitting area all within one large room. These rooms are located in the Main or Manor Wings of the hotel.

Main Wing: Junior Suites are available in either smoking or non-smoking. Suitable for two people

Manor Wing: Junior Suites are designed to meet the needs of families. These rooms can accommodate a rollaway if needed. Please note that these rooms are available in non-smoking only.

One Bedroom Suite: One Bedroom Suites are designed for guests that require more living space than traditional rooms. Located in both the Main Wing and the Tudor House, the suites offer a bedroom with an adjoining parlor.

Two Bedroom Suite: There are a limited number of Two Bedroom Suites available at the hotel. Located in the Main Wing,  these suites offer two bedrooms and an adjoining parlor. 

Honeymoon Suite: Honeymoon Suites are split-level rooms with staircases (some of them are spiral staircases)

Presidential Suite: The Presidential Suite offers unsurpassed luxury for the stay of a lifetime. The master bedroom ensuite bathroom is finished in marble and has a whirlpool and shower. The split level living room boasts a working wood-burning fireplace, grand piano and library. Entertaining is a delight in this suite that offers a pantry, separate guest bathroom and stereo. The Presidential Suite also offers the opportunity to secure the seven Fairmont Deluxe bedrooms that comprise the full Presidential area, at which point the rooms are serviced by a private elevator to the 10th, 11th and 12th floors.

Waldhaus Restaurant: The Waldhaus is The Fairmont Banff Springs' 'House in the Forest'. The Bavarian Cottage-style building was erected in 1927 to be used as the Banff Springs Clubhouse and is set on the edge of the Golf Course and the Spray River. Upstairs you will find an atmosphere reminiscent of an old hunting cottage with dark, rich wood paneling, a large fireplace and a beautiful, temperature controlled wine cabinet which houses an excellent wine selection.

Waldhaus Pub: Located beneath the Waldhaus Dining Room is Banff's best kept secret - the Waldhaus Pub!  After an invigorating day of activities, tantalize your taste buds while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere at the Waldhaus Pub.  This unique pub offers a cozy apres ski venue with several televisions, a pool table and multiple offerings of locally brewed bottled beer as well as beer on tap.  Enjoy a great pub menu consisting of nachos, wings, chicken strips and the famous cheese fondue.

Banffshire Club: Join Chef Daniel Buss for a remarkable evening in the intimate and exclusive Banffshire Club. This elegant and luxurious heaven offers contemporary North American cuisine featuring the freshest ingredients prepared in a most innovative fashion. A fine selection of single malt scotches combined with one of the most extensive wine cellars in Canada will complement your menu selection and enhance the evening. At the Banffshire Club you will be charmed by the atmosphere, while enchanting strains of the harp create an air of Scottish welcome. Vaulted ceilings and painted frescos, set against a warm backdrop of rich oak panels and wainscoting instill a sense of grandeur. Windows overlooking Sulphur Mountain are draped in the Malcolm tartan. High-back chairs and antique reproduction tables of the Stuart period, set with fine linens, delicate bone china and crystal invite you to dine like royalty. If your party wishes a unique private dining experience the hotel offers the intimate and charming wine room. Eight guests can dine at a large trestle based table surrounded by the Banffshire Club's extensive wine collection

Bow Valley Grill: When you dine at the Bow Valley Grill, you'll savor the finest and freshest seasonal cuisine, while overlooking the Fairholme Mountain Range. The unique 50-ft. open kitchen provides an opportunity for you to interact with the talented chefs while your meals are being prepared.  The Bow Valley Grill offers a relaxing atmosphere that celebrates the spirit of the outdoors, with handcrafted mountain animal sculptures and tables constructed by local Alberta artisans, featuring the region's flora and fauna.

Castello Ristorante: 'Italian Courtyard in the Castle'.  Savor the delicious flavors of Italy when you join for dinner at Castello Ristorante. It will be a feast for the senses offering true Italian ambiance and fine Italian cuisine. Experience a very special evening of exquisite Italian fare including: bruschetta, veal cutlets, osso bucco, braised veal shank, gourmet pizza, selection of pasta dishes, rack of lamb, pesto crusted swordfish, stuffed chicken breast and minestrone soup. The food is complemented by the fantastic wine list. The experience would not be complete without sweet delights like tirami-sù and gelato.

Castle Pantry: A delicious selection of gourmet foods for those on the go. The Castle Pantry features a selection of tasty salads, sushi, sandwiches, soups and chili. Savour delicious locally made chocolates and pastries. Choose from a wide selection of beverages and treats to take on a hike, on the ski hill, or to enjoy in the comfortable seating area.

Golf Course Clubhouse: The Clubhouse Restaurant is located at the heart of The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course.  The breathtaking view of legendary fairways, sparkling rivers and majestic mountains make the Clubhouse a perfect haven for visitors.  The Stanley Thompson Luncheon Buffet offers an assortment of succulent fare, while the dinner menu will be sure to satisfy your appetite featuring Alberta Beef. A shuttle bus is available to and from the hotel, on the hour and the half-hour

Follow your imagination along the golf course and Bow River set against the backdrop of the mountains, or witness a spectacular scene to the west along the Rundle mountain range.
