Food & Beverages

Tent City Sports Lounge: Tent City is a reminder of the Hotel's humble beginning. On the shore of Lac Beauvert, the Brewster Brothers created Tent City, as the lodging was commonly called. It was not until 1921 that Canadian National Railway established the Lodge as a first-class mountain resort. Enjoy the creative pub fares or sip away on your favorite beverage. Enjoy the fine selection of single malt Scotch or peruse the creative menu. Whether you are meeting friends or just relaxing, Tent City will be more than just a Pub experience.

Fitzhugh's Express Delivery Service: A century ago it was common practice to name a town after prominent companies and businessmen.  Accordingly, the town of Jasper was originally named Fitzhugh in honor of the Vice-President and General Manager of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway.  In 1913 the residents of Fitzhugh renamed the town after a famous fur trader and notable personality, Jasper Hawes.

You won't find a mini-bar in your guest room at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.  What you will find is something better:  Fitzhugh's Express, offering door-to-door delivery of everything you'd find in a mini-bar and a whole lot more.  Whether it be a single malt Scotch, a full-sized bottle of your favorite liquor, groceries, or simply some ice.

The menu is located in your room. So make yourself comfortable, make your selection, and we'll be at your door in minutes.

7th Tee Hut: Nestled between the 6th green and 7th tee, the area offer great views on the 6th, 7th and 11th hole. A perfect setting to rest, refresh and refocus on the upcoming challenges. It's time to relax and laugh. Sip on your favorite beverage or grab a snack to finish the day.

The spectacular views of Mount Edith Cavell, the highest peak in Jasper National Park, is only the beginning to an extraordinary dining experience. Known as 'La montagne de la grande traverse' the 3367 meter, 11,047 foot giant was a landmark in the fur trade era. Renamed in 1916 to honor Edith Louise Cavell, a British nurse who was martyred in Belgium by the German army in 1915. Today it will be an integral part of your experience as it looms high above Lac Beauvert through the table-to-ceiling windows.

No expense was spared in creating this jewel. The warm cherry wood, lush carpets, European china, glassware and more importantly, nothing, but the best available ingredients and some of the world's finest bottling. The Edith Cavell proudly displays the finest culinary experience The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has to offer.

Peruse the weekly menu where the Restaurant Chef has created elegant dishes where creativity mingles with 'old world' traditions. Appetizers range from Salt Cured Foie Gras to Twice Basked Goat Cheese Souffle. Main Courses demonstrate the best North America has to offer in an eclectic fashion. Enjoy some of Alberta's most premium beef or a Mountain Spiced Rack of Fallow Venison.

The Emerald and The Emerald Outdoor Patio: The Central Lounge was an integral part of the original main lodge building in the 1920's. The Emerald Lounge has come to symbolize Canadian hospitality, seclusion and serenity in the heart of The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

The fantastic vistas of Lac Beauvert, The Whistler's Range and the glowing east face of Mount Edith Cavell at sunset, provide a spectacular setting for an amazing experience 'Al fresco'. Sit by the grand fireplace on chilly days or enjoy mountain breezes on the outdoor patio in the summer months. Fabulous lounge creations, great wines and vistas to remember, will make you wish you could enjoy this gem a little while longer.

First Cup Deli and Seasonal Grill: Stanley Thompson, master golf architect, displayed some of his finest work when he designed the 18 hole, Jasper Park Lodge golf course. Today few courses matched its majesty. The Chef's strive to do the same with the culinary creations.

The First Cup Deli offers take-out options, creative sandwiches, beverages and snacks to satisfy your appetite before enjoying the challenging golf course.

In the shadow of Signal mountain, with great views of the first tee, lies the Seasonal Grill and Patio.  Enjoy seasonal BBQ fares in an enchanting location.

Meadows Restaurant: Welcome to Meadows Restaurant. Summer flowers, glowing peaks and raw natural beauty. Meadows offers Breakfast and Dinner with a variety of menu items, suitable for all members of your family.

No better way to start the day than with one of the sumptuous Breakfast, buffet or choose off the a-la-carte menu. Meadows Restaurant. Cafe by day, dining experience by night!

The Moose's Nook Northern Grill: Rugged mountain passes, rushing rivers fed by thawing glaciers, stunning snow covered giants and the largest glacial ice field in North America. From the Native Nations and Inuits through to fur traders and outfitters, all carved their way through the majestic landscape. Today the Moose's Nook Northern Grill welcomes you on the path of history in celebration of those who helped shaped the character of this nation.

The heritage is nowhere more evident than in The Moose's Nook's rustic style. Bent wood high back chairs, cowhide covered menus, native artwork, wildlife paintings, relics of bygone eras and depictions of local landscapes. The service is unsurpassed in warmth and true Canadian hospitality. The culinary team will prepare the best ingredients available through the prairies and Rocky Mountains, or perhaps you would prefer the freshest fish from the pristine rivers of the Great Canadian White North. Creative regional cuisine and an outstanding selection of VQA Canadian wines will round up your Grand Canadian Lodge Experience.

Sit by the fireplace, choose a private banquet or an eighteen foot wooden table and enjoy the jazzy sound of 'The Flextime Trio'. By the time you depart you will feel part of the family, and just a little more Canadian.

The Palisade Lounge and Patio: Playing host to Kings & Queens, celebrities and high society, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts landmark hotels are known for their signature drinks and the lounges that made them famous.

The Palisade is that and much more. Whether it be a preamble to The Edith Cavell experience or an end to a delightful evening, come and enjoy one of the signature beverages. Soak in the elegance, and get comfortable, you might want to stay a while.

Fitzhugh's To Go - Coffee and Gourmet Shop: Visit this newest addition to The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and take a piece of the Grand Canadian Lodge Experience home with you.
