room are draped with burgundy and plum colors and trimmed with hand tied silk
Scalamandre tassels. There is a tapestry of knights in armor behind the
headboard of the handmade king sized four-poster draped canopy bed. The balcony
commands sweeping views of the inn's herb and flower gardens and the sea beyond.
The completely updated bathroom is clad with Carrara marble and features a
six-foot whirlpool tub and separate walk-in shower, each built for two. This
suite is just steps away from an open bar and pantry.

marble wallpapers, antique pinewood shutters, and features a cast iron claw foot
soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. This suite is just steps away from an
open bar and pantry.
The Pinnacle: The Pinnacle occupies the entire east wing of the third
floor and offers "his and her" bathrooms and an expansive balcony with
the most spectacular views the inn has to offer-formal knot gardens below, and
the magnificent sea beyond. This suite features a well-stocked wet bar and
pantry, and two gas log fireplaces; one in the bedroom and another in the living
room. These fireplaces feature whimsical English bisque tiles of gardeners on

and Cobscook Bay rock crab. Savory meats and game dishes punctuate the table
including bison, elk, caribou, red deer, and wild boar, pheasant, partridge,
duck and quail. Artisanal cheeses are imported from dairies in Quebec and
France. And then there is the abundance of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Local
signature ingredients include maple syrup, cranberries, strawberries,
raspberries, and wild blueberries from nearby fields as well as homegrown herbs.
