The domestic airport in Tamarindo "TNO", just 10 minutes from Cala Luna, features a paved landing strip amidst picturesque farm fields. An unpaved dirt road prohibits mainstream tourists from this clandestine treasure. However, the one who travels down this undefiled path are richly rewarded.

The resort features twenty-one Luxury Villas, each with a private Swimming Pool. The resort features twenty luxury Garden Villas, each villa is approximately 1,350 square feet (150 square meters) and can comfortably accommodate four people. This Villa has two Bedrooms, one main Room with a King size Bed and a second Room with two Single Beds. For larger parties, the hotel has five three-Bedroom Master Villas with approximately 1,800 square feet (200 square meters), providing for up to six people. This Master Villa has one main Room with a King size Bed and two Rooms with 2 single Beds in each Room. As an additional service, Cala Luna provides skilled chefs and bartenders to create spectacular private events from larger exclusive occasions to exquisite intimate Candlelight Dinners for two.
