Hotel Overview
Extraordinary grace defines The Mansion on Turtle Creek - a historic
1920' s estate inspired by the lavish colors and textures of the Italian
Renaissance, and transformed into one of the most acclaimed luxury hotels and
restaurants in the world.
A
dramatic floral arrangement greets the visitor at the entrance to the 32-foot
high marble rotunda, leading to the reception desk, concierge and a lobby
elegantly appointed with antiques and comfortable lounge chairs and sofa groups
around the fireplace.
Location
The Mansion on Turtle Creek is situated on a 43.5 acre site on a
terraced hill at the corner of Turtle Creek Boulevard and Gillespie Street in
Dallas, Texas. The hotel is located just five minutes from the Central Business
District of downtown Dallas, less than 30 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport and adjacent to Dallas' most prestigious residential area,
the Park Cities.

Main Dinning Room: The 10,000-square foot Sheppard King Mansion has
been restored to accommodate the award-winning Restaurant and Bar at The Mansion
on Turtle Creek. The restaurant
includes small, intimate private dining areas as well as the main dining room
with its adjacent enclosed veranda. A
fireplace at each end of the main dining area and a collection of antiques,
together with the original wood panelling and carved ceilings and leaded glass
windows, add to the residential feeling.
Bar: The
Bar displays hunting trophies and eighteenth century hunting theme paintings and
lithographs hung on forest green fabric walls.
The Bar also features pianist and singer Mark Carroll, with a trio on
weekends.
The Promenade: Four
private dining rooms are located on the second floor.
The Sheppard King Suit,
is a spacious room suitable for elegant parties and receptions.
Adjacent to a canopied terrace, guests may enjoy a breathtaking view of
Turtle Creek. The Sheppard King
Suite can accommodate dinner for 60 people, or a reception for 100.
The
Trezevant Room, is
designed for intimate dinner parties for up to 16 people.
French doors overlooking the landscaped courtyard and fountain provide
access to a terrace that can be used for meeting breaks and cocktails.
A reception for 25 may be held within the Trezevant's 272 square
feet
The Hunt Suite,
is an elegantly appointed private dining room offering such residential features
as classic wood and fabric Empire-style chairs, a sofa grouping and fireplace.
This intimate dining room is ideal for seated meal functions of 24 people
or cocktail receptions of 40
The Pavilion,
connects the restaurant and bar with the hotel tower, and can accommodate 200
for meetings and 100 for seated dinners. The
Promenade is the reception foyer for The Pavilion and is a dazzling area
featuring a lattice covered ceiling and Palladium windows.
Combining the two areas may oblige a reception for 350 people.
