The McClaren Suite is reminiscent of a bygone era with tastefully decorated furniture and decor.

Ruapehu Lounge - Lounge Bar Relax by the open fireplace in the luxurious Ruapehu Lounge or Ngauruhoe Room. Enjoy a game of billards or just unwind in front of the large Ngauruhoe window with views across the National Park

Pihanga Cafe & T-Bar - Affordable Cafe Style Cuisine Located within the Chateau Tongariro, opposite the Chateau Garage. The Pihanga Cafe and T-Bar is open from 11.30am until late, 7 days a week. Enjoy sumptuous and affordable cuisine throughout the day and night. Enjoy a drink in the T-Bar with friends until late. No bookings required.

Fergussons Cafe - Historically Restored Cafe Located between the Department of Conservation Visitor Centre and the Chateau Tongariro. Enjoy lunch or a snack in this historic building within Whakapapa Village. Restored to its former glory, Fergussons Cafe offers hot and cold mountain beverages and the healthiest of cafe cuisine. Soak up the ambience of Fergussons Cafe, located in the heart of Whakapapa Village.

Tussock Bar & Restaurant - Gourmet Pizzeria Located 100 metres below Chateau Tongariro. Enjoy a full view of the mountains from the warmth and comfort of the Tussock fireplace. Have a game of pool in the ambience of the alpine-themed bar and order from our great selection of gourmet burgers, pizzas and hot mountain foods.
